Wanted to welcome Saraswati. It is a very special and significant name as part of the "portfolio" of the traditional Indian archetype of Saraswati is the voice, sound and uplifting through its sacredness. Communication, music and the arts all fall under the influence of Saraswati.
In addition to having another wonderful fan on board, it is delightful to see that name. Please post often!!

I live in the Tampa Bay, Florida, area and have yet to hear Ghost Town on the radio. However, our iheart station has been playing it late at nite and early morning for the past couple weeks, according to their playlists. It is a start I am happy to see. I checked in with the Ryan Seacrest Saturday Top 40 program at 7 am on my trip home from walking the beach. The first song I heard was #30. Found out the program starts here at 6 am!! So I checked online, this week's top 40 is not listed yet. Maybe GT will not show up until next Saturday's Top 40 list.

By working with Max Martin and Shellback, he’s crafted a collection of songs most of which he’s credited as co-writer on. For the most part The Original High mixes up dance rhythms harking back to the 90s and moving Lambert away from the glam-rock/pop sound he sported on his first two records. Since Spotify stream amounts are still not updating for Adam (and it might not before Monday that it will happen) I checked the charts again. It seems that worldwide GT is picking up streams.  It's showing up on more charts. Just not in the US or Global. Viral 50 charts:#2 Lithuania #7 Portugal (also TOH is #20 here) #10 United Kingdom#18 Uruguay #19 Australia #21 The Netherlands #21 Denmark #23 Austria #28 Poland #28 Hungary #43 Canada#44 Singapore #50 New Zealand Top 50 charts:#13 Finland with 39,037 streams #17 The Netherlands with 62,336 streams #32 Denmark with 30,227 streams #45 Poland with 6,279 streams The amount of streams is going up for these countries.  RdioI've also checked out Rdio stats. They are also keeping track of the number of plays a song is played. Adam is trending there as an artist as is Ghost Town and TOH album is 2nd in the trending list. The numbers are however worldwide so I can't say how much are for the US. Update today gives: Ghost Town (explicit 170,756 streams and clean 18,647 streams): 9,569 increase Other songs (UG, EITN, TOH, ALN): 667 increase Albums (all three total 64,694 streams): 15,926 increase |
