Here's nica's sound check video from the bleachers. Yay for nica's videoing skills!
I suppose these are posted over in the concert thread.

saraswati - welcome to Atop. What a great first post to share your experience seeing Adam for the first time. Saraswati, welcome! May I ask what you observed during soundcheck? What was Adam doing? Lots of gestures to Gary?

Hello everyone! Thanks so much for this wonderful forum! I so appreciate everyone's generosity, kindness, humor and insight! I am definitely known for being a huge Adam fan-I share his music at every opportunity just because I feel it's so wonderful. His story is so amazing- it really seems to have mythological dimensions-what a great graphic novel it would make! I wanted to share with you my experience at GMA, which was my first time seeing Adam live. The whole experience had the feeling of adventure-from getting up at 3:00am, to being very lucky with the subway being at the station when I arrived so that I was on line at 4:30. Being at Central Park at that hour with all the sights and smells was just like camping which I love. It was great being surrounded by so many Adam fans. When Adam took the stage it was one of the most gorgeous sights I've ever beheld! We were so lucky that we got to see the sound check which was really interesting because we could see the process he goes through to adjust the sound. The show itself was fabulous-Adam was so dynamic, graceful and sexy. I definitely think "The Original High" has the potential to be a huge hit. The band was great and the audience was wildly enthusiastic. I can't wait to see him on tour. There was nothing much happening on the off air parts as far as Adam is concerned because he was usually offstage during those times. When I listened to the TOH album for the first time hearing all the songs in a row as they were laid out I was very struck by the cohesiveness and flow of the album as a unity. WELCOME! Glad you had a great experience at GMA.

THIS IS A BIG WEEKEND FOR ADAM"S TOH...Keep streaming ,I've been going morning noon and night.. Just gifted album on ITUNES. He went up to 9 on TOP chart .. Wouldn't it be great if he could get up to 2to3 ... As long as he's in the top 10 glorious...but 2to3 would be even more fantastic...
