No, Leila has very flat black sandals on. You can see them in another pic. Page 9 If she was barefoot, at the Forum, I would seriously question her sanity! Not the best venue, even in VIP! I was thinking the same thing. Could you imagine walking through that parking lot barefoot? Not on a bet!!! ETA: I went back to read the Black Swan essay, Q3, and I really think your points illustrate how he could be A Black Swan (not THE; as there can be many). The thing is, we don't know where everything will lead. Usually, Black Swans are identified in retrospect; we track back history and pinpoint where the shift occurred. Already, there are contestants going onto "The Voice" and declaring their sexuality from the beginning, the image of Adam and Tommy kissing is shown on TV repeatedly without being blurred out. I've long said the timing has been incredibly serendipitous for Adam (almost divinely so); yes, he is riding the wave of the sea of change as it occurs, but he it is also his skill, grace and ability that keeps him atop that wave. I don't think we can separate one from the other. He is both driving and a part of that change and because he's a lightning rod, he will always be in the middle of it. And if suddenly theater performers start becoming pop artists and we don't bat an eyelash and he goes to Russia and wins over a metal audience in a country that is still largely anti-gay; this is when we'll see the real change that hinged on his emergence as an international star. He already did it in Malaysia. Since we don't know how much the world is going to change and we don't know how big Adam will eventually be, I think it's too early to tell if he is or isn't representative of a pivotal shift in world culture. And LOOL, NoAngel, Waltzing Matilda had me on the floor, but wut? National Geographic atlases and French-English Dictionaries? Did you fall into the Way-Back machine? Ninjas go Google.

I wonder if Adam was trying to be incognito with that hood up. It reminds me of the time I saw Paris Hilton in the Jacksonville airport. In the middle of summer, she was wearing a camouflage hoodie with the hood up and enormous sunglasses. There was no way in the world that you would NOT notice her.
