Good grief!! You have Adam Lambert for an interview and you ask him about cereal and milk? I won't describe the body part that some of these interviews have their heads in. LOL! I agree! I listened to that interview and thought...Man what a wasted opportunity for this dude to have a little time with Adam. Even though the interviewer wasted his opportunity, Adam covered all the bases!!!

Q3, is it OK to post this here? I know people will find the % confusing otherwise. We will definitely be discussing in the numbers thread! About Monday's HDD Sales Predictions for Albums Need to caution you All. When the first HDD prediction comes in, (around 11 a.m. Pacific time) there will be a % on top of the page. This % does NOT mean it is a percent of the total sold. It means it is the % of outlets reporting. No one will know which outlets report first. If it is iTunes, number could be higher for say, Hilary (I doubt it.) If it is retail, numbers might be higher for Adam, Amazon higher for James, etc. On Monday, there should be 2 updates, one in the morning, one late afternoon. Tuesday, early afternoon, we should have the final numbers in two charts: One for just sales & the other for sales plus stream equivalents and track equivalents. Quoting myself Yes, OK to post. Just as long as everyone remembers that HDD is NOT the final numbers -- it is based on reports from selected retailers and then adjusted based on past history. They do an excellent job at HDD are are usually very accurate with the sales number. >> But please if anyone wants to get into a technical discussion of which retailers are included or how it might be skewed by 800 units, please take that over to the Numbers Thread! Thanks.

Pretty sure that is worldwide and cumulative! I am so confused about what i can post about numbers & don't know if I can expand on this here or not That number tells us that the week was just under 3 million streams, but again, that is WW. Because it takes so many streams to = one album, TOH's streaming number will be under 1K. BUT!!! GT and TOH tracks did very well last week. Projections are for GT to sell 30K and TOH (track) another 6K Adding the other tracks in, TOH album should have about about 3600-4000 in streaming plus track sales in its number! Sadly less that half of that is for the US. This amount gives about 360k on average / day. We know that Ghost Town wasn't on the charts in the US for which it needed around 170k streams a day. Close to 37% of the streams for GT were done by just a couple of countries: The Netherlands ( 60k / day) Finland ( 33k / day) Denmark ( 30k / day) Poland ( 6k / day) Ghost Town also just entered the charts in Sweden ( 37k streams) and Malaysia ( 3k streams). Total increase for the whole album was just over 4,6 million. Rumors (156k increase) was the most popular of the new songs, but ALN is still the most popular of them all (268k increase). The other songs that were out already all doing better than Rumors though, with TOH (224k increase) a good 2nd after ALN. So maybe the US did 25% of those total streams? That's 'only' 770 albums. So streaming indeed will be below 1k probably. Although Spotify isn't the only one where the album was streamed. The album also got close to 100k streams on Rdio (but this is also ww). Yes, in the two months or so that I've been watching Spotify's United States Top 50 chart it's taken around 170,000 to 175,000 daily streams to reach the number 50 position (though sometimes it takes more). Currently, however, a song with only 140,494 streams is number 50. So, at the moment, GT is being streamed less than 140,494 times a day in the U.S. Hopefully, more radio play, the album release exposure, now being on Top 40 countdowns that air on the radio, and the inclusion on Spotify's Top Hits list will help increase awareness and interest in streaming the song. It was reported here that GT had 9.095 million streams as of Sunday night, and that now it's updated to 11,973,198 streams. So it looks like GT gained close to 2.9 million streams this past week or about 411,171 streams per day, on average, which means that at the moment less than 35 percent of the streams come from the U.S. (fingers crossed it's more than 25 percent). ETA: If last week's update was posted on Spotify on Sunday morning (and just noted on Sunday night), then my math might be a little off because I probably should have divided by 8 days instead of 7, for an average of about 359,713 streams per day (39 percent or less from the U.S.). But the next update showed 432,396 GT spins in a day, which is closer to the average I got dividing the previous total by 7 days.

I've been thinking (dangerous, I know!) that Adam might have found his opening or co-act in Tove Lo for a tour. Their duet would be a nice transition from Tove to Adam and we know they get along. I'm desperately trying to find a way to get Adam on tour. Tove has enough guts to sing ahead of Adam. Any thoughts? OMG! That would be so awesome!!!!!

I'm desperately trying to find a way to get Adam on tour. Tove has enough guts to sing ahead of Adam. Any thoughts? Makes no sense to me for Tove Lo to tour with Adam. She just blew everyone away at Firefly and is booked into several big festival -- then headed out on her own tour next year. **** Adam has just started promoting TOH. he needs two big singles to tour or co-tour -- and he is still working on the first single. I think we should wait to see what develops. It takes more than one song to relaunch an artist -- and this was a relaunch. **** I don't see Adam's issue being other artists not having the "guts" to sing either before or after him, I think Adam's issue is his market. Who is his audience? What is the genre? Adam will be touring with a mainstream pop album with a heavy EDM slant. I go to a lot of EDM and Remixer concerts/events -- and the audiences are young and skewed male for every one I have been to -- Jamiexx to Avicii. The audience I saw at GMA was pretty much the same audience he had in 2010. **** I am not sure how it will all work out, but I know it will work out. He wants to tour and he will figure out a way. Hopefully, he will perform at some big festivals this summer and expand his audience. A second hit might put him on some new concert goers consideration set.
