Would like to clarify with all you number experts, is no. 23 position on sales chart this week a good/bad sign, or is it no longer meaningful since it's no longer debut week? |

For anyone worrying about GT here's an observation by a poster at Pulse that shows the problem is not with the song itself. Radio is being kind of weird right now with songs.
"From 25 to 50 only two songs have more than 500 on its bullet (curiously two songs that are not in itunes top 100), and most of them have really low bullets. The chart looks totally stalled with a small bunch of songs receiving big updates and the rest going nowhere.
This summer ... surprisingly (or not) is not living its initial hype"

Good to have that information. Glad GT was 29 on the published rather than 30. We will see how the week plays out. REALLY hoping for some Cumulus adds but will be zen if it does not happen yet. HAC looking mighty fine. |

The position is not yet settled. This chart does not take streaming into account and (not sure here) other track sales. It also will not be the final Billboard number. Hopefully (but not certainly) it may be in top 20. Please notice how low the other two pop albums that debuted are. This kind of drop happens these days. This is also why radio play is important - build awareness through GT and sales of album follow. Also why streaming is so important. Taylor Swift has maintained a high position because of massive streaming and yes, her album does continue to sell as well. |

Would a good Tuesday update be too much to ask for?!!  Just to clarify, Taylor Swift is staying in her Top 3 position due to track sales, not streaming. |
