Would a good Tuesday update be too much to ask for?!!  Just to clarify, Taylor Swift is staying in her Top 3 position due to track sales, not streaming. Was that true for TOH debut week as well? Didn't she top him because of streaming? RE Tues update IKR |

As far as i know, 1989 isn't on any streaming sites, just her old albums are.

I don't peek into this thread too often---not good for my blood pressure and broad-level number info is more my speed---but it's HDD final estimates day and I couldn't resist. I saw the comments about Taylor Swift's numbers and just wanted to pass on some info I posted in the main thread last week: adamtopia.com/post/636151/threadAccording to Billboard (and the New York Times, see link below), Taylor Swift's latest album, 1989, has not been available for streaming on any streaming site. I imagine that when 1989 begins streaming on Apple Music when the service launches today, Taylor's future streaming numbers added to her track sales numbers could be even more of a force to reckon with. Or maybe we'll see a direct cut to her sales because of streaming. It'll be interesting to see the effect when streaming is available. |

Thanks for the links Misha. I guess the big thing will be if Billboard and Apple have already linked up so the streaming data numbers are transferred.
