Seems to me like it was designed to do exactly what it did - create controversy and get people to watch it to see what all the fuss is about. Not sure creative intent came into the calculation at all. Yeah you are probably right. But I think it is such a waste to make something that has no creative/artistic value to contribute.JMHO I agree but sadly clicks above creative/artistic value seems to be the law of the land these days.

I see on twitter some are asking Adam if he saw Rhianna's new video for B*tch Better Have My Money and what he thought of it. I saw it last night...totally shocking, and to me, not in a good way. If she was going for shock value then she definitely succeeded. I found it disturbing and not a piece of art but myabe I am not an artsy enough person. I just didn't see any value to it. Just my opinion, of course. Seems to me like it was designed to do exactly what it did - create controversy and get people to watch it to see what all the fuss is about. Not sure creative intent came into the calculation at all. I can't watch it. It says the video is restricted because of my age.?!?!?!?!? How does it know how old I am. If I'm not old enough to view it, no one is.

Aww...@kymysmith who writes the My Bad Ass Alter Ego blog got to meet Brian her hero. There is an Adam mention. ♥ Adam Lambert is ♔ foxvegas 25m25 minutes ago Everyone has someone who has impacted their lives who they with they could meet .. @kymysmith did! Here's her blog... fb.me/x7RbXbkC
Adam mention: I love Dr. Bri!
"Brian asked me what I thought of Adam’s voice and was very quick to tell me what a marvellous singer he thinks he is; he really lit up when he was talking about him. I also had the opportunity to tell him that I write this blog and that I’ve always loved Queen’s music because I have a classical background. I wish I’d had more time to speak to him, but I think I managed to cram quite a bit in."
Here is the link to her actual blog. badassalterego.wordpress.com/

I think it is a possibility -- the big awards and the pop category will be filled with top selling recordings. That is always the weird thing though. You read the criteria for Music that is eligible for a Grammy. It is based on critical acclaim. But most always, commercial acclaim is just as important as Critical Acclaim. So for Adam to have a shot at a Grammy, GT well need to peak some where in Top 30 BB Hot 100, I guess. I think the Album is worthy of a Grammy, but I think commercial success well determine that. Taylor is a lock in for Pop Album of the year. 2017 Grammys maybe? TOH will not be eligible for 2017. But a track released after the deadline for 2016 could be. I wonder if they will try to hold the title track so it would be Grammy eligible for the following year.

I think TOH album sales are what will matter + TOH single being on the radio and in clubs in September and October when the nomination ballots are out. But that is just my guess. Somehow Taylor Swift will win a Grammy in 2016. I think Taylor Swift will get a lot of nominations -- not so sure about the wins -- my guess is she wins one award -- not "everything" like Sam Smith did last year. She has only won one major (non-genre) Grammy -- 2010 Album of the Year for "Fearless". Hopefully Kendrick Lamar will win for his amazing album "To Pimp A Butterfly" which has a 96 on Metacritic and was commercially successful. www.metacritic.com/music/to-pimp-a-butterfly/kendrick-lamar It will be really sad if 1989 wins this one. Last year, Taylor Swift was nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Shake It Off" and lost both to Sam Smith "Stay With Me". The Best Pop Solo Performance went to Pharrel Williams for "Happy" beating Taylor SIO and Sam Smith "Stay With Me". But Sam Smith won Best Pop Vocal Album. Taylor was shut out. Last year there was one big exception to the "commercially successful recordings winning all the major awards" -- Album of the Year went to Beck for "Morning Phase" which sold modestly but got excellent reviews. So a solid selling album can win. In any case, WBR and Billboard classified TOH as a dance recording and that opens up a new option for Adam getting a Grammy nomination.

Hey if gets One nomination that would be an acheivement. I mean his last Nomination was back in 2010. And it diddn't even make the actual telecast. It could be the Beck of 2016 you never know.
