Quoting myself because Pulse people think Fuckin Summer might break a record for fastest "collapse!" Whew. That gives me license to say how thrilled I am that a song with IMHO zero value other than a popular "artist" recorded it is tanking after all the push it got. ALMOST restores my faith in taste. Not quite though. There is Bad Blood. Bad Blood has something like 180 MIL AI between CHR and HAC! Seems there is no limit to the amount of sh*t masses can consume...

Not quite though. There is Bad Blood. I think the Pretty Girls collab from Britney with Iggy also comes close to that record. It's nowhere now. As for Bad Blood. It's huge with you guys in the US, but it's struggling here in the Netherlands. It's being played, but not much and on iTunes it's hovering around spot #40. It's not taking off here and after about 2 months it's behind the trajectory of Ghost Town which was made Alarmschijf after about 1 month, spent 2 weeks in the 'Tipparade' and then charted. GT also shot up to top 10 in iTunes after 1,5 month and has stayed there since (now #4!). It took Bad Blood 5 weeks in the 'Tipparade' to get to the Top 40 chart and after 3 weeks it's now #33. www.top40.nl/taylor-swift-feat-kendrick-lamar/bad-blood_25838. After 3 weeks GT was #29 www.top40.nl/adam-lambert/ghost-town_25725. Bad Blood not being on Spotify hurts, because that is the biggest streaming service here in the Netherlands and it counts for all our charts.

POP: 28 29 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 2580 2445 135 10.432 -62 Spins -123 Bullet +0.062 Audience Why? You are jumping to conclusions on the basis of a big negative spin number? Don't cause unnecessary panic. If you will notice in spite of negative spins the audience increased. Wednesday and Friday currently have much higher spins than any other weekday so I'm not at all surprised to see this kind of correction. However because audience went up indications are that stations may be moving spins in to better time slots. Sometimes when stations switch from off peak spins to prime time spins the actual number of spins is reduced but those spins are in more advantageous slots. We had a good positive update yesterday so there is no reason for panic over a negative today. The bullet itself is still positive so way too early to make any judgements. Negative updates happen. Last weeks update for this day was a +60 and we have already established with this song a pattern of good updates one week being followed by bad the next. I'm assuming you got this from the Pulse GT thread and yes Az posted "Okay what the f**k." but that doesn't exactly translate to "We're in trouble". Radio has ALWAYS been a bit weird with Adam's songs.

Radio has ALWAYS been a bit weird with Adam's songs. True, but we can't just have the on-off too often, it does not look good that GT has been around CHR 27-30 position for almost a month now. It should have picked up the steam by now. Many songs below could pass GT really soon. And Cumulus probably won't add until it is high on the CHR, this won't happen if GT is kept pushed down

Tori Kelly's song and Jason will move up and most likely pass GT but not yet. I think GT will be at 27 or possibly 26 and up to 25 next week. It is not a cause to panic with a one day correction. HAC was positive and AI increasing very nicely. But we need to work every opportunity for spins. No complacency

It should have picked up the steam by now. Many songs below could pass GT really soon. And Cumulus probably won't add until it is high on the CHR, this won't happen if GT is kept pushed down We have a LOT of posters on this board who know nothing about radio so when they see a post saying "we're in trouble" they panic. It serves no purpose to make that kind of inflammatory statement here other than to upset people. As for GT being stuck, if you have paid attention at Pulse GT has not been the only song that this has happened to. We would all love for the songs to rocket straight up the charts but the reality is a lot messier. WWFM stuck at 34 for over a month then went on to peak at #12. To date ALL of Adam's songs have struggled up the charts in increments and there is always this back and forth of positive and negative updates. It can be extremely frustrating but the radio PD's aren't making their decisions based on how fast or slow the song is rising. Some stations wait until songs get in to the top 20 but it matters not how long it takes them to get there. Cumulus adding isn't about where it is on the chart because they added the Idol winner right out of the gate. If they are resistant to adding him getting in to the top 20 might force their hand but there is no guarantee that they will ever add. However their DC station DID add and is spinning so that may be a test. The point I am trying to make is lets discuss the numbers by all means but try not to scare the peeps who don't know what it all means.
