I googled call-out research and it looks like it originally meant telephone surveys but now is information based on things like Rate The Music surveys done online. Maybe ?????

Please enlighten me I copied this from a moderator's post on Pulse in the Ghost Town thread. I'm sure Q3 knows more about this because I saw her post on there. Hope this is okay to post here. Hint for callout posters: If you're gonna post about 'em, give some details for context. K? 
Positive: 60.3% (about middle of the chart, actually - for comparison purposes, it's right on par with where "Fight Song" is)
Negative: 20.8% (ordinarily when this is in the 20s, it trends higher - but this is actually the fourth-lowest on the entire chart; only "Beautiful Now", "Stitches", and "Photograph" are lower)
Favorite: 12.3% (eeeek - only "Should've Been Us" is lower)
So, while this is trending to be something good to hear on the radio, it leans more strongly as a "like" than a "love". But at the very least, this should net this song some extra life.

I see Bad Blood on top in those Call Out scores... which tells me that if a song like that is on top then there is no hope for anything decent to get recognized...  Amazing isn't it. But isn't this same phenomena duplicated in many ways in other areas of our society? :-/ |
