Interesting Friday the 13th for me.
Nothing tragic, everything fixable, just a some nuisances.
Cable is out (internet is working), 3 long on-hold sessions with Comcast (sending someone next Tues.), AC died (it's not that hot), mini-explosion from gas can for mower (What do you do with old gas?), nozzle for new gas can fell inside and can't get it out, can't get the new weed wacker put together because we can't find the right screwdriver (another trip to Home Depot)...

So they're letting him have a homecoming but it won't be televised? I guess they are counting this a promo for his new album. But it would be Idol that pays for the homecoming; the travel & accomodations, security, motorcades. Sounds like a wash to me. |

I think this site's trying to get a lot of hit again after the last time they wrote about Adam and Durbin. And they swore they will not write anything about Adam again. They just couldn't help but to put Adam's name again. However, they're not going to get it from me. >:( I forgot what they said about Adam. Refresher please? Ohh. If I remember correctly.. I think they said James was better than Adam or something like that and it causing all the fans upset. And the editor wrote another article that's even make it worst with Adam fans. So they ended up wrote something stating that they will not write anything about Adam again. I could care less, I boycott the website since the first article. I guess they couldn't help it now .. they need that "click" .. :-/ |

I did however see this one audition for this kid James Durbin and immediately thought this is the guy that can bring “American Idol” back. He’s got Adam Lambert’s vocal range, he has a better tone in his voice than Lambert and he’s got a better back story than Lambert, he has Tourettes & Aspergers syndromes. When Adam Lambert was on the show they labeled him the rocker, but in reality he’s not a rocker. Lambert was edgy for Idol, but he did his best when he wasn’t singing rock n roll. When he performed “Whole Lotta Love” by Led Zeppelin it wasn’t his best performance, he did fine, but it was no “Mad World.” |
