I so hope you're right! If Sia loses 300/day on avg then it's possible. Atm she has about 3.5k spins to lose...and Snake about 1k...so it would bring us to 23 the week of 8/2. I also dont see SS as a threat atm...???????? Sia's negative spins have increased every day: -144, -192, -280. So this could be starting her nose dive. Tomorrow will tell! Adam is increasing enough to pass DJ snake as he drops, IMO. And OFC, Derulo goes recurrent. After that we will have Wiz and Guetta who are both starting their drop. Both will probably get below 10 for their recurrent dates. 5th Harmony (eventually) but not this week, darn! With GTs new spins from Cumulus, I am confident we are in for an exciting August. And if the Cumulus spins help to get it close to 20, then damn Sirius Hits One better kick in! IDK why they are being such a$$e$! He visited them in NYC & interviewed and everything! :( I have been dutifully voting on Sirius Hits One, being careful to not look like a spammer. I am sure many of us are. I wondered if this voting was doing any good. From this post I guess not. |

Ya, jean, IDK what is wrong with Sirius 1. They were actually one of BTIKMs top CHR spinners! And when FOB hit mid 20s, they latched on & are the ones that drove it up the chart! :(

Revisiting SS and Top 40, I agree that he is not moving quickly enough to be an imminent threat. Forgot to check his adds.
I also think the dropping songs will accelerate so it's all good. As that AI grows I think we will see it holding its own rather than being passed. Already starting to happen IMHO

Already starting to happen IMHO Yes Tove Lo will be gone and barring unforseen events Sugar should be out of the top 10 by the weekend. The reason they will be gone is they have past the 20 weeks on the countdown but they don't pull a song that is still in the top 10 so once it hits 20 weeks as soon as it drops out of the top 10 it goes. Earned It will go also but it is way down at #33 today so won't affect GT's position. For Top 40 Fifth Harmony is eligible once it leaves the top 10 but it is still climbing. Walk the Moon is falling but not sure if it will be out of top 10 by the weekend so probably nothing leaving this week. Nearest negative is the DJ Snake song but not likely to fall enough by Saturday. So this week will probably stay at #26 for Published chart. Next week has more potential for increase. |

They seem to give spins to every other song on the Top 40 and some that haven't even made it that high. I've been listening since Adam visited them and have only ever heard Ghost Town once. It got a spin at 6.30pm last week. With our voting record I don't believe that it is not one of the top songs. |

Was involved in a twitter discussion today with someone who thinks all songs rise fast & that radio is "blocking" GT. she was completely irrational & had no facts, just her emotional wrong perception. Anyway, I decided to google a few songs to see when they were released & here's what I found!
The Omarion song was released last November!
Worth It was released early March!
Flo Rida was released late March!
