Happy Birthday thdayanncdon7, annmcd721, barbr21, cindy420, gilly47, got2btrue2u, minxyinbedlam and phoebert08
WOW, Betty, what a lot of cakes you had to bake today!! Q3, thank you for this wonderful review. I know what you mean about the live experience. I still find it impossible to describe the Queen + Adam show that I saw. Luckily, my daughter and GD were with me and were awed along with me. But it did change the way they both think of Adam. My GD says it was a life changing experience but she doesn't go into detail...just wants to know when we can go again.

Gorgeous update for GT.
Rolling charts have it at 25 on the Top 40 (Pop) chart with that important Audience Impression (AI) at 11.2 HIGHEST POINT SO FAR This implies spins at much better times of day reaching larger numbers of people and there was a gain of 75 spins.
I have often compared GT to a jellyfish bobbing up and down with the waves and enjoying when songs went out with the tide and staying in place when other songs passed it but now I think there is going to be more self propulsion.
On HAC there is also good signs with spin increase of 18 and AI over 9 for the first time. There is also the likelihood it will move up a position this week to 17 (where is the brass band? Gotta hire one when that happens)
Go Ghost Town!!!!!! The little train that could.

theosgma, thank you for explaining what "audience impression" means -- I never understood that before. Good news all around for GT! Hopefully it will start soaring now.

Q3, thanks so much for the wonderful recap! It was really interesting to read about the people who were there and their own Adam experiences. Since a lot of the people who attended the concert were singing along, I'm thinking they already have their own copies of TOH. And I'm betting the couple you spoke to weren't the only ones buying a copy afterwards! I still love WWFM -- I'll never get tired of that song -- but ITA that he needs to do something else for an encore -- or, maybe make it a two-song encore with WWFM as the lead-in to something faster paced and high impact. Not sure what, but he and his team will work something out.

Q3! Thank you for great recap! "Let me start by saying that I had a lot of time to think about this concert and I have one overriding thought – no matter how great the videos are, no matter if every second is recorded, not even if the recordings are perfect, the live concert experience is not the same as the video experience." (Q3)
>This is so true! I sometimes frustrated when I try to tell people about my experience, and I always feel that I can not tell anywhere near what I have really seen and experienced This! It frustrates me too. Pet peeve is when people who weren't there say something "didn't work! " Unless one has the perspective of the entire stage and audience, then they really don't know!

Patti, I am sure we all know it's not the same. There is no way to duplicate the full effect of being at Adam's concert - there is so much ENERGY in the air around him. We are so fortunate to have an opportunity to get the recordings and have at least some idea of the performances. Wether we want it or not - we form an opinion on what we experience via those recordings. Having the recaps from the lucky attendees is like adding another dimension! SO, BRING ON THOSE RECAPS! Help us all!
