No, not really. Real Life is kicking her in the ass these days. No time or energy to hang with us. But some caring PMs to her might help pick up her spirits and make her smile. How do we private message someone? I've gotten some private messages but have never sent one. Any member of Adamtopia who is feeling overwhelmed deserves to know that we all care about them and support them.
BTW, did anyone here consider a thread just for personal issues, like when life kicks you in the ass and you just feel the need to vent? For example, my beloved dog was killed last weekend but I would never post that here because it's not appropriate for a discussion about Adam.

I've been streaming Rdio for a while now, but since yesterday it started skipping parts, as if we're back in the gramophone days. Sometimes it just plays the first notes of the song, and then skips all of it. Does it happen to anyone here? Sorry to bring it here, I couldn't find anywhere in Rdio's site to ask, and since it's Adam that I stream, you could call it related...  I use Rdio and have not had this problem. |

Awww....thanks for the video of IIHY from The Tabernacle. I can see me for a split second in the crowd...first time I met Adam. Yes, he does a great job of jumping and singing at the same time. I haven't watched any old videos lately from back then....such fun times. Just in case any of the newer Adam fans happened to miss this encore from The Tabernacle....wow! This is an Improved Version by Lambosessed and she used our own Misha's audio. Misha had great audio from The Ryman as well.....wish she had been at Morongo...lol. Oh, wow, bamafan, bringing back memories. I haven't listened to that audio in a long time. Hard to believe that show was my last, full Adam concert, though I was lucky to see him perform songs when he was doing radio promo and singing with Queen. I wish I could have gone to Morongo, too, especially after seeing the videos and reading the recaps, but I doubt that I'll be able to travel far to see him perform anytime soon. I haven't given up hope, though, that Adam will come to the Southeast. Maybe when more Cumulus stations start adding GT, he'll do another round of radio promo and visit a block of those stations as a thank-you or an incentive to spin more. I was just looking to see which stations in the Atlanta area are Cumulus-owned, and when I was on the Q100 website I saw---in that moment (5:57 pm)---from their playlist that they were playing "Ghost Town"! I was so shocked, it took me a minute to realize that it was happening right then. I scrambled to find the station on my radio dial (to verify that it was not just playing online) and then I finally hit the Listen Live button on my computer but by that time they were on to a commercial. But the next songs on their list came on my radio, so I'm sure they actually did spin GT. Yay! They are definitely spinning it: Playlist

I've heard Ghost Town twice in the car in 2 days, which is really saying something since the round trip to town is only about 10 miles. Anyhow, heard it on Vancouver's 94.5 Virvin FM yesterday, and today it came on Seattle's KLCK Click 98.9 just before we got home... DH couldn't wait to get the car in the garage and shut it off, haha. At least he doesn't shut it off or change the channel! Maybe he actually likes it, although I don't dare ask him yet, LOL. |

WOW Q3, that's a lot of information. So Camilla Grey will take Peter's place on keys when they tour or will she start performing on any of the promo shows? I'm glad Adam made the final selection.

By the way Brad, guitar, had to audition to play for Adam. I don't think Peter, keys did, he seems to be a friend of the MD, Kris Pooley. Wonder if the other 2 did? would be interested to know how they all got picked. Wonder if they will continue playing with him? I'm very curious today. LOL Now, back to OOL?GT  Everyone except Camila Grey auditioned for their band slots. Cam ran the auditions. It was an invitation-only audition -- and they were very selective in even who could audition. Adam made the final selections. Npt sure if this was discussed before but regarading the band Did WB suggest to upgrade his band??? or do you think Adam realized after performing w Queen, realized a new band was needed?? I am surprised ADAM HAD HE LAST WORD ON THE NEW band (sorry, hit caps by mistake) as he chose TJR based on looks rather than ability therefore, I don't know if I would trust his judgement lol There was another bass player what happened to him? |
