7.23.15 Adam News and Info

OK - first attempt ever at doing a mediafire playlist.  Used one of the free converters to rip sound from YT and then uploaded to media fire from computer.  Have done this for myself before but not for sharing.  I used mostly cos2mwiz's YTs for the sound.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much for doing this and sharing.  I've never converted anything from YT nor have I tried until Morongo.  I tried but failed.  But I really needed these songs...  Thank you.

Cannot get over how much I am taken with the live version of this song.  Every bit of it enthralls me, even the"grown ass man," which I didn't fall to at first.  But when you see Adam singing it, a grown ass man in real life, with emotion, for me it loses it's jarring-ness, doesn't take me out of the song like it did at first.  

And as I said before, the build of the song, to that glorious note at ~4:24?  Slays me, absolutely knocks me out.  There is just something about seeing Adam hit a glory note, how he puts every fiber of his being into it, how he takes me on that ride, so in control, so amazing.

And the content of the song?  Don't know what liner note lyrics say, but I hear, "I'm sick and tired of living in your shadows."  Which gives it a whole different meaning, to me, than the singular.  Shadows being the places in a relationship that you don't talk about, the places where there is a tacit agreement not to go.  The places where things are hidden, not addressed.  And that is what he is sick of, the subterfuges, the darkness, the untruth.  

I know we say he is an alien from Planet Fierce, but I do think he has evolved, certainly more than I, in the realm of honesty in relationships.  Just a guess garnered from his lyrics and interviews, but I feel it is what he strives for.  And is comfortable with.

But anyway, love this song.  Really really want to hear it live.

Probably naive of me, but I was surprised to learn that Lady Gaga "almost always" mouths along to a recording.  She is the one of those three that I actually think can sing with any range and art.  You just never know, right?  I have really only seen her on screens, never gone to one of her concerts.

I'm not challenging you in any way, cassie, not meant to sound like it, but I'm wondering about the performances below.  I'm thinking that I might not be as adept at spotting phony singing as I thought!  And I trust your expertise absolutely, so just inquiring for my own edification.

ETA:  Boy, I didn't even know that I liked Lady Gaga that much!  Sorry if I came off defensively, sort of surprised at my reaction to that article.  Thanks for posting it, cassie, I think I'm going to have to go see her in concert, I guess I like her more than I thought!
