Gigwise @gigwise 14 bandmembers who stepped in as replacements - from Arctic Monkeys to Queen ow.ly/PX23tQueen: Freddie Mercury-Paul Rogers-Adam Lambert: Losing Freddie Mercury was a huge blow for music, and as a result, Queen remained singerless for 13 years. Paul Rogers took over as a part of the band in 2004 as a touring singer until 2009. When Rogers stepped down, Adam Lambert took over in 2014 with his impressive three octave range (one less then Mercury).

I tried the link and it worked? LINK DELETED BY Q3or go to home Adamtopia Adam Lambert Fan Community then Members only info-events and meet-ups then Burning man 2012 Adamtopia in the desert eta: don't worry the sights will curl your hair! Q3 always says don't post links to member's only section because it bypasses the password feature.

I'm too lazy to research it...I read that Gigwise article...are they really saying that Freddie's range was four octaves to Adam's three? That's what they are claiming. I have given up arguing the topic of range as it relates to pop singers. The way the "experts" (whoever they are) are measuring range is invalid according to the traditional definitions of singing range, and no consideration is made for how it sounds, if it can be sung live, or if it can actually be sustained for more than a second.
