Not my business but I did try to find out and learned it is shrouded in mystery. All I could find out is that Apple picks the artists they think will have broad appeal to their employees. And they pay them well. Also, Adam got to meet Tim Cook and get an Apple watch. Must have been pretty cool for him to be there. Adam's tweet to Tim Cook said it all, didn't it?? That campus is HUGE..it was boggling the number of employees who showed up for Adam. I wonder how many people Apple employs? Very impressive. The Apple campus is astounding. I was there a couple of times and got a tour. They are building Apple 2 which will make the current campus look like a hovel.  youtu.be/eB6_XkUFpAcApple has about 100,000 total employees -- 48% work in the retail division. There are about 11,500 employees on the Cupertino campus where Adam performed. The crowd was typical for "Beer Bash" or other big event. |
