He seems to be doing alot of Aussie TV Promo, hope he does some over here in NZ. But TBH not sure what show he could go on over here realistically. Their is a rumour he may appear on the Paul Henry Show. Our most watched and listined to Breakfast show. But we don't have alot of prime time kiwi shows, he could appear on. Well see.

Can we tell what exactly led to the sudden rise? So happy to see it rising up again! (Might have impact on BB100) About the same time as the Apple event Ghost Town was listed in the Hot Tracks section on the main iTunes page and has climbed steadily since then. I think that listing coinciding with being over 10 million AI in Pop and 22 million overall is what is fueling the surge. He has enough radio play to have reached a level of familiarity that being listed in Hot Tracks spurs purchases. Throw in the non-monitored stations and his AI jumps even more. Wonder if Apple gives employees free downloads? I would think those would count just as those purchased with gift cards. So we got: that call out report with high difference between like/dislike and a low burn rate Cumulus stations adding and playing Top 40 spins and AI jumping dramatically Apple headquarters concert iTunes Hot Tracks listing Spotify has had some real increases since the 1st of July Who knows what Apple Music is doing Shazams have been steadily increasing Any idea if there has been a similar increase on Amazon? |

Do you know that it was Adam who coined the phrase. I believe it was at a concert -- though I only vaguely remember the circumstances! I don't remember where, but I think some girl or woman flashed him. Haha. No, I didn't know that, but it sounds like something he would say if he got flashed..  |

Ok, this is a bit random, but does anyone notice how Adam appears to lisp here, like someone who's just had a tongue piercing sometimes..? I don't understand what is causing this but it is all over the world -- Poland, Egypt, Romania.....in Germany GT has moved up to #21.  From what I saw , the bumps (in multiple countries) began when GT was included on the iTunes Hot Tracks page |

Bad audio. Been dissected lots in the past 6 years! Yes, but I was only 'born' in January, after the NYE's gig! I believe that when this Upright Cabaret video was first posted a long time ago, their was discussion about that little lispiness in hin voice. Some even thought that he might have been wearing a retainer or something (Like from wearing braces). He did wear braces on his teeth when he was younger. I remember being part of the conversation, but no one really knows, I guess. |

Several countries move happened before the listing. Hard to believe that the US iTunes Hot Tracks listing affected so many other countries but not three major English language countries, Canada, UK and NZ. But I have not been tracking GT that closely for the past week because I was traveling. |

I have!! It's insanely cool, at only 5 bucks. I initially thought it wasn't going to be convincingly real, but DAMN. Virtual reality feels SO REAL. I let my friend try it and he actually reached out to try grabbing a virtual object (of course he couldnt touch anything) LOL. I'm rooting for this whole VR thing, I think it's the next big thing. Especially for a technology nerd myself, I find it simply fascinating. Everyone whom I showed it to was blown away at how realistic it was -- and yes I watched the Paul McCartney concert on it Check out the HTC Vive too! It's a slightly more interesting and intuitive VR headset, compared to Cardboard or Rift I have played with a number of 3D viewers. Love the HTC Vive -- you can render a whole 3D environment/room with it. It uses SteamVR -- more info about it and the US demo tour: blog.htc.com/2015/07/the-htc-vive-world-tour-is-here/I did a side-by-side test of Rift headset (uncomfortable and expensive and hard to code for) vs. a smartphone based headset for gaming -- the smartphone mounted versions won. I have not seen a concert using one of these devices -- just gaming and simulation environments. I hear there is a Jack Black concert too for a bit more of a modern vibe. I tell ya, if the glamberts start buying into seeing Adam in 3D, watch out. I can't get any of the youtube apps to work for me so I can't tell yet if that rabbit hole of old vids will need rewatching, sigh. ghost, like your friend I was immersed. I did the Sea World app and had whales swimming over me and the shark attack. oh my! |
