I hope this means that now Z100, Q102 & KIIS will start their push. I honestly believe that those stations have been holding back for a reason and it could very well be that the strategy was to get Cumulus on board BEFORE any big push. Letting the song grow organically and working on Cumulus avoids the issue WWFM had of the big stations pushing early and having to back off before Cumulus added. The next few weeks will tell the tale but GT's trajectory has been more similar to IIHY in that it grew slowly and steadily with no stations being way out in front of the pack. But I think RCA gave too early on IIHY and didn't finish it off with a big push at the end.

Doesn't matter. We are looking at probably 4 songs above GT being gone by Sunday's "published." Even if one more song passes GT, we are looking at 23 for next week's published. The following week, I'd say Top 20, w/o a doubt.  Been so excited about the Pop updates last week, never even noticed how close HAC AI is to 10 million!! Absolutely. My "yup" was not a downer. I completely agree. Jason is recurrent and I think Sia and Snake will drop below. Not sure what your fourth song is. I don't think he will catch Flo but maybe. Are you thinking Pitbull? |
