Ok, I'm making predictions because it's fun right? ... And knowing this then we can make predictions based on how many more actual spins it gets each day than it got last week on that day. So let me add some estimated spin+ to our week. Thu +53 Fri +50 Sat +20 Sun +20 Adding the predicted spins to the actual count we already have from Mon-Wed and we get a 277 move for 3450 total spins for the week. I'm basing Thur/Fri on the already large spin+ we got on Tues/Wed but being very conservative at 20 fewer additional spins a day. Sat/Sun is a bit of a toss up as these have been volatile days for GT so I'm assuming moderate growth and the same number of spins we got as last week on the syndicated shows. What do you think? Am I high? Low? Which days would you change Actual so far: Thu +36 Fri +50 Sat +20 Damn good, girl you can make predictions for me anytime.  , I'm Joining LindaG with  . What do you see for the next week? Hoping for picking up in the spin increases tbh  My own "analysis" of the chart tells me we have +3 (Guetta- very soon falls out of top 10, Grammer, Walk the moon), but 1D is going to pass GT in a few days again, so I see #23 as a "stable" point (unless some other song shoots up). Is FloRida on the way down? if yes - #22 is a possibility  |

Can we be reminded throughout the week to be prepared to tweet, Instagram etc. for SNOL and the House Party voting (with maybe specific instructions on how to do this House Party as I had trouble figuring it out last night, I never did :( ). I think when Saturday is upon us suddenly we're like oh I have to help get spins on Saturday Night Online and Open House. Like the Boy Scouts, let's be prepared. Lol Thanks. my look on HAC: Derullo dropped to #10 (yay), but he'll sit there for a while, nothing is even close to pass him atm, he goes recurrent as soon as it happens! Other recurrent-eligibles are too far up...
on the other hand Pluth is only 146 spins behind GT with sizable bullet, so dropping to #19 is a real possibility. GT had no HAC adds this past week, right?
I see nothing else...

But I also wonder (need some experts here) AND I AM NOT WHINING - JUST CURIOUS) why GT is not getting spins. It is #25 and there are some very noisy fandoms with songs ahead that should rightly be getting multiple spins but there are a lot of spin slots and there were a lot of tweets for GT as I saw when I resorted to twitter since Atop was pretty much AWOL. I actually got through on a call (miracle) and was told they would try to get GT through for me. Maybe that helped the remix version IDK but I felt it was a bit passed over. Too sensitive? Someone talk me down. BTW I totally get list burnout and needing a break so I don't mean to point fingers. Just an observation on what was going on last night. I have no idea how to listen to OpenHouseParty or request other than call which I did. Do we know if we got a spin? They seemed enthusiastic but who knows? |

It is #25 and there are some very noisy fandoms with songs ahead that should rightly be getting multiple spins but there are a lot of spin slots and there were a lot of tweets for GT as I saw when I resorted to twitter since Atop was pretty much AWOL. I'm confused because I saw last night you said you had called OHP but now you are saying that maybe your call helped with the TWITTAMIX which is SNOL so did you get through to both shows on the phone? |

I agree it's going to be hard moving up in the chart but the spins keep increasing. I really wonder if there was some behind the scenes orchestration to slow down HAC in July and see if GT could kick up the Top 40 chart first and we got that big kick after Apple. |

I predicted to myself the HAC and I was way way under so my powers of prediction are not great, I wouldn't hire me yet. But because I like guessing, I think the song will grow 5% on Top 40 for 188 more spins (it was 8.3% this week) but that's not where it needs to be to tip into afterburner territory and it's under this week. And HAC was 9.1% but I think it will just be 7% next for 148 new spins. You might note my predictions are a bit pessimistic. That's because I'm not seeing changes in some of the other numbers. Spotify and Shazam have both flat-lined, and the youtube has never moved up. June had a lot more excitement to it but July was a snooze. Maybe August will pick up but for me this is a pivotal week. What we see will determine how much further the arc of the song's liftetime has to go. Maybe summer is just this way. YMMV |

What I saw in the first hour there were enough tweets. I went to sleep after one hour, but put up at least 100 tweets total in my hootsuite to continue to tweet for 2 more hours. Those got retweeted some as well so there still were quite some people tweeting I think. Last week GT wasn't in the top 5 of most requested (I've checked their Top 5). They didn't update the video for this week yet. The week before GT was #3 and got the 2 spins (Adam was also one of the interviewed back then). I must admit I'm very very tired as well. Need some break, but have still quite some stuff to see because my Mom and Dad were here from Thursday until today. They helped me rework my balcony so I'm very glad they did, but since I was already tired of all the Adam Australia promo it exhausted me completely now. |
