I don't see the drama with the Alice/Paul interview. Neither were negative. Nothing wrong with not being a gushing fanboy. Alice said he saw a j am session -so maybe he saw an early rehearsal or maybe the EMTV event. Early on Adam was sticking pretty close to the original format of the songs...so what he said he heard could very well have been totally correct. No indication that I recall that he ever saw an actual show. As to the 'look' remark, it really sounded and looked to me that Alice was reacting to something someone in the audience said. As to Paul, if it were me I would not go out of my way to watch the video's either. There is no reason to and nothing to gain by doing so. He is likely proud of the work he did with Queen and neither party appears to have any desire to revisit that partnership. Watching someone else performance the same music would just be a waste of his time. He still performs and has a large body of work that I imagine keeps him plenty busy on its own. yer mileage may vary (learnt that yen here ) jist thowt they were being a tad ,superciliouis I saw the Queen and Paul Rodgers tour. He was not a good fit, His style isn't right for Queen songs. And he has an arrogance about him (imo) But, I still got chills listening and watching Dr May play.

news from the uk well the uk fans are right now ranting against ss stone ,its all fb centered , there fore i dont know if, i can bring it or ,you would want it ,but the feeling is that a/ they and b/adam have been ,to quote a phrase "thrown out the window" by s stone Can't imagine what else Shosh could have done. It is the labels job to get radio to play the songs, not hers. She is the publicist. Got him on several TV shows (one the #1 talk show, right?) and so many UK magazine covers it was kind of embarrassing! The problem is UK radio, not Ms Stone!

Does he think that Adam can't "sang" or is it just that Adam isn't his cuppa tea? [otr] Yeah, he kinda thinks that Adam is mediocre and not at all deserving to share a stage with Queen..says he saw some video from, I think, 2012 tour and didn't like it at all..well, I had the same feeling before 26 january)) and look at me now..trying to convert everybody around) Yeah, a frontal assault isn't likely to change anything and I'd stay away from anything earlier than the latest QAL tour. Part of it could easily be his earlier look and the beard is good that way. I'm not sure anyone here has ever converted anyone. We might wear them down or perhaps get them looking on their own but he's like a kid who's a picky eater. Force feeding just makes them more stubborn.

The labels can't do much to influence what is played in the UK either. Anyone who is ever tempted to think that having Program Directors pick the music they think people should hear is great, should listen to a hour of BBC 1 - Z100 and KIIS sound pretty great.

OT, but has anyone else watched "Back on Board - Greg Louganis" ? It was on HBO the other night and a very interesting and sometimes sad story. Went thru a lot of homophobia from teammates, got into some bad jams with relationships and those who take famous people to the cleaners. One very touching scene where he sees a youtube of another swimmer/diver who came out and said that if Greg was brave enough then he was too. He was a mentor for the diving team in the 2012 Olympics wonder if he will be involved in the 2016s in Rio? (there's my Adam tie in) I saw it too, and besides what you mentioned, found it really interesting that he met his husband on a dating site.. something which Adam has said he's not interested in doing, but it certainly worked out for Greg. Welcome alice and all the other new members I missed! If I see it again I'd like to watch it from the beginning and I'm just looking and I guess the film was just released this week (although it looks all filmed prior to 2013) and it was funded thru a Kickstarter campaign. (looks like it just may be available online thru HBO sports now) What a difference 20 or 25 years make and how our society has moved forward. So many things that Greg experienced that Adam didn't have to go thru.

Have you had them scanned for a microchip? Your vet should be able to do it. If you know anyone in animal rescue or TNR they may very well have access to scanner as well. I think she said they couldn't get close to them. If they are trained sheep guard dogs they normally won't be that friendly to humans. We have warning signs put up in our hills when sheep are out to tell the hikers etc how to act around them. For example all bikers are supposed to dismount and walk past. These are not like little border collies, these guys are bred to fight off coyotes and in our area wolves too. That makes me feel better, cause they are in a gully overnight. some shelter and they have food and water. Coyotes and Javelina roam around here. I might have been able to incite the male up to me but the female is hurt, well limping. Figure less stress if the pros handle it. If I could get close have no place to hold them. We have security at night and they are watching out for them. Small town closed up on the weekend! Left word with both vets no emergency services off hours. I remember sheep in Idaho, we got behind a herd that was using the highway and took us two hours to get through. Now this was in the 50s so I imagine free range is no longer possible. Now I have wine, Adam on Spotify and a thread to read.

It could be my Adam filter, but I got the feeling Alice Cooper would have gushed more over Adam and Queen if Rodgers wasn't sitting right next to him. I think he threw Rodgers a bone by saying that he "interpreted" the songs and Adam didn't. Of course we know that Adam DID interpret them in their full range and to the extent that he thought was respectful to the original version for the Queen fans. Alice sounds like he wants some credit for spotting Adam from the get go as the Freddie fill-in. So kudos to you Alice Cooper. Some rockers seem to want to keep their club exclusive and black ball reality stars. So good on him. ( of course I don't know squat and could be wrong about Alice Cooper but it makes me happy to hear it that way. LOL)
That's the way I heard it too. Alice was trying to say something positive about Paul Rodgers' stint with Queen because Paul was his co-interviewee for this event. But in a way, it is also a negative because Paul HAD to "interpret" the songs his own way because he could not sing the range.
