This is one time when I think WBR miscalculated. The push is too late. The spins are out of sync. KISS and Z100 spinning a lot is always awesome, but it should have happened a month ago. Too many other stations have cooled down. Having said that, the song has gotten great, mainstream exposure. It is really hard to compete with the usual suspects----you need that huge, undeniable break-out song (and even then, that is not always enough).
I do think Adam is in a VERY good position going into single #2!

If the big stations keep up with their push the others might get back on board. At least I hope so. Maybe it will just take a little bit. Biggest problem with loosing spins at this point is that Macklemore might catch it before Sunday after all. Will have to see how the building chart looks once it updates for today.
ETA: Actually looking at spin count on today's chart it looks like Macklemore's first day spins fell off and current spins aren't big so they had a big negative. Went from 3957 yesterday to 3284 today. So they shouldn't be able to pass even with GT's negatives. It may be close though.

On the positive side - #17 on HAC is a possibility, until TS passes.

We are entering a big holiday weekend and a lot of songs are going to get a lot of spins especially new ones so anything is possible.
We will see!
Lot's of songs of dropping and not that many strong ones below. If GT can hang on and not continue losing spins, it can still move up.

Just as I thought, Macklemore's deal spins fell off. But GT can't keep going backwards. It's a shame with all the songs above him dropping. But it's been on the charts for 124 days, and a hit in NYC, LA, Chicago, SF << Top 4 US markets, plus Miami, Detroit, Cleveland, St Louis... is nothing to sneeze at. Hoping that the stations that have eased up, notice the big increases from Z and KIIS LA and decide to increase.

The spins not there but things change. Maybe a good night tomorrow on SNOL and Open House party?

I am not so sure these two days of small negatives is a real indication of the direction, given the onslaught of the meteoric rising "masterpieces"... We've seen this before with FLoRida and GT as well...but if the decreases go for another 2-3 days then I'd say GT's stability on POP is over...

No better than yesterday, probably worse!

Good point ladies. So let's keep encouraging the same drill - up arrows, requesting, thanking, texting and swinging for spins tomorrow night.
