More Things that Are Absolutely None Of My Business, But About Which I Still Wonder Anyway. 1. I wonder if Tommy had expectations to continue with the band, or if maybe it was made clear from the beginning that it might be a temporary position. I wonder what the conversation between Tommy And Adam consisted of, if Tommy was upset. I also wonder if Tommy will be able to make a living in music. From what I can see on his Twitter, he makes some money selling pictures of himself. 2. I wonder why Terrance isn't dancing with Adam. Perhaps he has another gig? But I seem to recall Terrance tweeting Brian Friedman about a dancing job with Adam. Or maybe it was more of a "wish I could be there" tweet. 3. Still wondering about Eber and Amy not being able to sit together during the beginning of Idol. Yes, old news, another lifetime, but I admit I am still curious. Did Idol want to make the Adam story one of an intact family? 4. I wonder about Adam's weight when he started idol, and his weight now. Just curious about the amount of pounds he lost. I have no special information, just what I read on Twitter, but here are my comments on the first 2: 1. I would expect that Tommy was very disappointed given that this was his dream job. I think he knew by last January at least, otherwise I don't think he would have gotten a puppy, named Ms Etta after Etta Fitzgerald, shortly before embarking on the amount of travel being in Adam's band would require. My GUESS is that Adam knows how to approach this kind of situation in a good way having received plenty of audition rejection himself before Idol. And given that Tommy has been the only previous band member to tweet his love for Adam's new music and to say how proud he is of Adam, I think Tommy has been able to move beyond being disappointed. The only hints that I have seen about Tommy's current music career are that he, along with Lisa Harriton (played keys in Adam's band early 2010), both played in a band for an iHeartRadio event featuring the singers from Jem The Movie. Other then that, Tommy has written some music and shared on SoundCloud. Nothing earth shattering, but I can see improvement over time in his writing. 2. Terrance did dance in Ghost Town for Adam in a couple of appearances in New York City. They seem to be using regional (same continent) dancers when they can, likely because it is so much more expensive to fly and house dancers from other parts of the world. Unless they already have a better gig, I expect to see Terrance, and perhaps Johnny, dancing when Adam tours. |

All interesting questions -- I can answer 3 or 4 of these. 1. Yes, of course Tommy wanted to continue to be in Adam's band. He knew as a touring musician that it was a temporary position -- but he had a very long run. That does not mean he did not hope to stay -- touring with Adam was a great gig for Tommy. Professionalizing the band was needed if Adam was going to really make a go at being a major pop artist. (I know this to be true.) 2. Adam has been using local or close to the event dancers -- it is a lot less expensive to use London based dancers since Brian is based there. Terrance has been working on other things. Brain and Terrance have worked together in the past and are friends. Adam and Terrance are friends. I think this is just business considerations. I am just observing what we can all see -- looks like Brian is casting who makes sense and fits the budget. Flying a dancer from LA to London for rehearsals makes no financial sense. (Guess.) ETA: Same guess as Dancygeorgia -- so I am sure it is right!!  3. Amy Wallen talked about it in an interview with a fansite -- Adam got up front seats for two parents and two friends -- and his mom was there. (One of the Idol mavins probably knows where this interview is.) Idol did cutaways of Amy on at least two shows so I really don't think it was an issue with Adam's dad living with someone he wasn't married to. (Just a guess but the Idol contestants are the ones who provide the IDs for their guests to the producers. And Adam certainly had Amy on his list.) 4. Adam said in post AMA interview (Dec 2009) that he weighed 250 lbs in high school. In an interview in 2010 he said he lost 40 lbs after high school which puts him at 200 - 210 lbs for Idol. By the end of Idol (May 2009), he was over 200 lbs -- one source, not Adam, said 220 lbs -- and it is possible. During the summer of 2009 -- during the Idol tour -- he lost some weight. He lost more during GNT. I believe he is around 170 lbs now -- but that is my guess. He looks very healthy, very toned and very lean now. I wish I had that kind of commitment! |

Well...wish I could have understood what they were saying about The Queen and the Royal Family but the pics they were showing were good and gave you an idea what was being said.
Still waiting for Adam's interview.
I can't believe I am still up for this!lol I think it's because I am so excited for QAL. I kept my excitement in tack until now....but it is almost here....QAL in Rio and SA!! History is being made again for Brian and Roger!! And now for Adam!!
