well, kind of was torn. Sitting here thankful that there are pictures, and drooling over them like the rest of you, but feeling bad, because they (this set from their lunch table) are invasive pics. Adam is clearly relaxed and unaware that he is being photographed, probably with a long lens camera from somewhere further away. It is a publicity day for them, sure, but they should be made aware whether the lunch location where they are seated at, is such that they have privacy or whether that is part of the publicity trip. To me pictures are invasive, not only when they are explicit, embarrassing, or something like that They can also be invasive, if the other person does not know they are being photographed. I know the paparazzi make their living that way, etc....I am not naive, neither is Adam, but everybody needs a place to let their guard down, and if you think you are at such a space, and then you are not, I think that is bad. Have there been much worse such things done to other stars...of course...but just saying, this last set from lunch is a mixed bag, imo. Respectfully, I disagree. And it's always just an opinion. Adam and Roger and Brian could have chosen to have their meal in a suite, or a private area. They are public figures, promoting and enticing the public to see them perform. IMO, this is a part of the act. I wonder more about what the guy in the white shirt in the background might think. Now, HE may be someone who had no idea his gestures would be caught on film. Queen are in Rio!! They will be photographed everywhere they go!! That is, unless they go somewhere where cameras and observation will not be allowed. And, I'm sure 'Queen' has the power to elicit privacy when they desire it. Looked like a gorgeous setting for a meal. I wonder, too, what was on the menu. The most desirable delicacy was Adam - Brian - Roger. They knew we'd feast. The guy in the white shirt and the guy sitting with him (over Adam's right shoulder) are both bodyguards. You will see then in other photos. |

Idol is gonna pimp the hell out of the last season. Which is very good for Adam, IMO. When pR and articles recently have talked about Idol's success over the years, they most often mention three people: Kelly, Carrie and Adam. They are touted as the successes that have gone on to be giant superstars. The press may go on to mention other winners and also-rans, but consistently the top three seem to be Kelly, Carrie and Adam. Great publicity! And tho' it does tie Adam again to the talent show arena, it also emphasizes that he has gone waaaaay beyond that in the music and performance world.
