It's already 8.30pm at my side of the world and Rapture has come and gone...annnnnd I'm still here...the only significant thing that happened was more evening rain.  Maybe it happened and all the people you know are heathens! 8-)  Yeaa including all of us here! |

Thanks for the "Beth" moment. I have to bring back that whole segment, because it WAS Adam owning the moment for all time. At the very beginning he says, "I have been doing this, performing, in front of audiences, since I was ten years old. This is what I KNOW. This is ME." That sums it up, doesn't it? Then the guy in the flannel shirt appears, transformed, into this alien from the planet Fierce and, instead of a raunchy rock scream, he sings such tenderness. But wait..... then he transitions to front man for Kiss. Full swagger, full confidence, like he has been appearing with a world class rock band for years. And such a voice! This clip is definitely one for the ages. That's what I loved Cassie, him seizing the moment, being respectful but owning his performance and his right to be there. It made my heart swell with pride even way back then. |
