mindchnger ha, random Adam reference www.theglobeandmail.com/news/arts/steven-shearer-death-metal-in-venice/article2030028/about 11 hours ago via TweetDeck "Shearer is thoughtful, funny and clearly very bright, but he surprises with his not-always-highbrow pop-culture references. For instance, when asked for his birthday, he remarks that he shares the date with singer Adam Lambert (made famous by American Idol)." Why these randoms references about Adam make me ridiculously happy?

I just saw today(or yesterday) is the 2 year anniversary of this performance. God I wish I had been watching Idol that year. It must have been so cool to see him come out in his winged shoulder situation and rhinestones and look so at peace in front of the world, like some benevolent prince from Planet Fierce singing to his beloved subjects. The performance may not make people's best list but it's definitely one of the most magical moments. I WAS THERE!! He "set-up" during commercial! The reaction of the theatre was thunderous!!! Debbie, the stgae manager, had to threaten the audience to get us to quiet down before the commercial ended and the intro began. The Nokia was a love fest for Adam that night. The LA audience loved him!

4EverAdam posted this in last nights thread. Well, if the rapture is coming, this is definitely good for some laughs. From Twitter:http://www.someecards.com/2011/04/12/unintentionally-sexual-church-signs
Also just finished watching the movie 2012 and enjoyed Adam singing Time for Miracles. Think I will watch the GNT DVD just in case.
My favorite.

The LA audience loved him! I have seen bits and pieces of your finale experience. Will you give us a general overview? I love these behind the scenes tidbits. What happened during Queen? Was it planned for Adam to announce every act, or is he just the one that thought of it? What was the energy in the room after the announcement. IMO the season would have been perfect had it ended after the Queen performance. I am still in awe of how good the Queen performance was. Adam's ability to blend hid voice with Kris. He could have easily, intentionally, out-sang Kris. That performance summed up everything I love about Adam. It wasn't about him, it was about making a great performance. He then motioned to applaud everyone on stage. Adam's happiness infectious. The buddy handshake in the middle fabulous. The respect and admiration on the face of Brian May evidence we weren't crazy for knowing Adam is special.

I voted on that Russian poll and Adam is ranked 11/2/7 Does anyone know what each of those columns means? I know the end of the world is coming at 6 pm but I thought this would be the best way to spend my time.

Here's a lighter version of the photo gelly was analyzing. It's easier to see Adam here. desmond.yfrog.com/Himg612/scaled.php?tn=0&server=612&filename=48657911.jpg&xsize=640&ysize=640montanagirl link, please. ETA: found it from Q3! Vote for FYE here - once a day only - a Russian radio station:maximum.ru/music/hp/vote/#The vote button is on the lower right. I used google translator for these, please correct, if necessary: LW - number of the last hit-parade WOC - number of weeks in the charts TW - number in the hit parade this week PP - (Peak Position) - the highest form of a string of hit parade that ever took this track

I will kitty, but I'll have to come back as we are haviung a garage sale today and it's time! : I will leave you with this, it was an Adam audience. The LA audience loved him. His voice filled the theatre and overshadowed Kris' voice everytime. When Kris was announced there was an audible gasp in the audience, before the applause started. But then Kris got a very warm reception. I thought I would cry but I think I expected it. Plus, I knew Adam was going to outshine everyone from that year, Post idol. OK, back in a few hours. ETA: This is kind of funny. My son, who took me that night, and I had lunch together yesterday. We were talking about Idol and our convo turned to the finale we went to together. I kid you not, he was there, and yesterday he asked me what the name was of the guy that won!!!
