I just have to add, how much damn fun is it being an Adam Lambert fan!!  Fun, yes, but work, too. I've spent the last 2 1/2 hours catching up and still not at end of thread. I thought it would be a normal 12 or 15 pages when I got back but NOOOOO, it has to be 37 pages, plus Twitter, so I'm exhausted and have to keep going. I feel for those of you who have to work tomorrow, especially if it's the middle of the night where you are. It's not impossibly late here, but I'm sleeeeepy. Must trudge on though. Can't get out of the loop and miss something. It's the hot, sexy, sweet pictures that are keeping me motivated. |

No, nobody knows. It just happens. There are identical twins, who have same DNA and same gestational experience and relatively same upbringing, but one is gay, one is straight. It's still a mystery. ITA, NoAngel, I'm in no hurry to marry them off and start babies, but damn, they're soooo pretty and soooo in love that your mind kind of goes there. (Riff pics didn't help.) I also think its blissfully beautiful that we live in a day and age where they have options and they don't have to stifle their paternal instincts to be together, but they have the freedom to explore every option out there. They are not confined by their circumstances and forced to choose between true love and a family, as the generations before them have. They can have both (if they so choose) and it's a beautiful thing. No, we're not to the Perfect World scenario yet, but damn its incredible to think what options they have open to them today. ITA - IF Adam & Sauli decide they're long term partners, IF they decide to have children - they could go the route of Sir Elton John & husband. That is to have a surrogate - both donate sperm - and not want to know who the real father is! Not until the child wants to know! Children I know who are in families with 2 moms or with 2 dads are doing wonderfully!!! Doing well in school, in their social lives, etc. They are truly little miracles in the lives of their Moms & Dads! There's a lot of love & attention paid to them, forming them to become wonderful adults! Their sexuality is their own - it's NOT a choice!!!! They will grow up to be themselves - sexuality NOT an issue  I know it is not a choice. Just wondering about genetics. |

But I am certain they will/have signed her. ETA: For people who believe in the concept of the Kinsey scale -- sexual orientation is a choice for some people and not for others. This is consistent with my life experience. |

The Drake picture was outside the 7/11 (the night he met Brandy). The paps were chasing them. Drake was upset and Adam wasn't very friendly. The paps were yelling "Kiss, Kiss, Kiss" Drake initiated. I believe this is the last public photo of them. Oh, so that's what happened. I don't want to start anything but I've never felt the vibe that Drake and Adam were right for each other. I know that I don't know either of them personally but just looking at their photos, I just never got the "This feels right" feeling that I had with the pics of Sauli and Adam together. Sorry, but that's why I never really cared when there were Drake/Adam news... :-/ smokeyvera - Sorry to hear about the vandalism. Why on earth would anyone want to see what is underneath a new coat of paint???? ??? ??? Hope you get compensation of some sort from the realtor. |

They seriously need to knock this shit off R. F. N. Otherwise, not a one of us is going to get a damn thing accomplished in life.   I think it's a little late for that suggestion. Where were you July 2009 when the addiction to grainy, jumpy, scratchy fan videos from AI8 Tour Adam started these marathon nights? Some studies I have read about show a genetic tendency --- the incidence of identical twins both being gay is significantly higher than fraternal twins which is higher than non-related people. Some studies of brain structure also find differences in certain parts of the brain in homosexual vs heterosexual people. It is thought to be prenatal, but the cause is unknown. Other studies/theories think it is due to the level of certain levels of hormones during certain gestational periods in the womb. I don't think there have been any rigorous studies demonstrating any correlation between how the child is reared and what their sexual orientation is. Like so many personal characteristics, orientation is probably the result of a number of different factors separately or in combination, which makes it difficult to come up with a definitive answer. Perhaps the question needs to be changed. Is consensual, non-violent sexual behavior of all types between adults morally/ethically/spiritually/medically acceptable, or is there a right and wrong way to engage in sex? That seems to be the crux of the debate. |
