For those interested: Adam wore that Mad World taupe/grey jacket dyed black for interviews the morning after the finale when he was dead tired. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyKEv4W52R8

But gay couples use surrogates all the time. If his sister was willing, I think it'd be beautiful. Not saying she would or even that Adam will ever want kids. Just specualting. We are all just speculating here, but IF Sauli's sister was willing and it was Adam's sperm, being a twin, that would be the closest genetically to an Adam/Sauli baby. Just for the record, though--the DNA of male/female twins is no closer genetically than any brother and sister. Only identical twins--which would be the same gender--have the same DNA. So any sister of Sauli's, twin or not, would share some of Sauli's genes but not be an identical match.

OT but the James fans are not happy about the report that Haley was signed. They're not happy about a lot of things. Tough. They must learn the cardinal rule of fandom, not everything goes your way, so deal with it and move on. and if they think it's tough now, wait until he's out of the Idol bubble

Crystal Bowersox debuts with 58,000 copies of Farmer’s Daughter - goo.gl/TFs9S via @shareaholic < @adamlambert mention Says Adam should have won. Crystal's album is just coming out now? I thought it had been out for ages.

ITA - IF Adam & Sauli decide they're long term partners, IF they decide to have children - they could go the route of Sir Elton John & husband. That is to have a surrogate - both donate sperm - and not want to know who the real father is! Not until the child wants to know! Children I know who are in families with 2 moms or with 2 dads are doing wonderfully!!! Doing well in school, in their social lives, etc. They are truly little miracles in the lives of their Moms & Dads! There's a lot of love & attention paid to them, forming them to become wonderful adults! Their sexuality is their own - it's NOT a choice!!!! They will grow up to be themselves - sexuality NOT an issue I know it is not a choice. Just wondering about genetics. Well, I'm Gay - raised by 2 straight parents (with the help of 3 Straight Grandparents), I have 2 straight brothers, with 7 nieces & nephews, 6 that I know are straight & my youngest little guy - not sure, but too soon to say, (it's his decision to come out, if that's the case). Each of my parents have sisters - each have sons & daughters (my cousins) who are straight & have children of their own - they're still young so the verdict's not in on that yet! Soooo........... what do you think?! That's about all I can say about the genetics in my family & me being Gay! It just happens - no rhyme nor reason! I'm just lucky I guess! Good genes!! ;D ;D

Just have to embed this one, because... I've been out for the day and am just now catching up. I'm sorry I missed the twitter party. I love the lyric he tweeted, and his response about how he has to work every day to believe in himself but that being in love and being creative are helping him. Now that I know that he'll be at the finale, I'm going to have to watch the darn thing. My fingers are crossed that they might have him sing. Maybe with Haley? And those new pictures with Sauli? Oh, dear god, I have to steal a line from Spring 2009- How do those two ever leave the house?

Seems like it is just a Twitter rumor. Like the Pia rumor that was not true. But I am certain they will/have signed her. ETA: For people who believe in the concept of the Kinsey scale -- sexual orientation is a choice for some people and not for others. This is consistent with my life experience.Now I am utterly confused. [grin] I totally understand your technical curiosity, but it doesn't seem to be anything as simple as an allele pair. Ergo, its not like you can do some sort of Mendelian calculation to figure out the probability of straight parents producing gay kids or vice versa. Gayness doesn't pattern like a traceable recessive gene. Sorry to hear about your house situation. How frustrating! {{HUGS}}
