Adam has been very actively promoting TOH down in SA. Smart businessman. I have a feeling that he'll tour there early in the new year. He's a promoter's dream performer. If venues of 2000-5000 were chosen, I don't think he would have any difficulty in selling them out. The loud chants of "Ghost Town" and "Adam, Adam, Adam" from the audience last night were amazing. Seriously, you could see how he had the audience in his leather-bound hands. They know that voice is worth gold.

I think some stream viewers might have checked out the GT video last night. Usually overnight views are slower than daytime views (US time.) But last night they picked up. Last 24 Hr views will be around 310K! Not only the YouTube got a boost. GT jumped in the Global chart on Spotify to #37 with 839k streams!!! Those were however not because of Rock in Rio, but I think more because of the press cycle following the Sao Paulo performance. Total Spotify streams are now 61,406,076!!! That's a 866k jump from yesterday!
I'm not sure which country is responsible yet as I will have to check the other charts still. I'll report in later!

You know, I finally realized what Brian meant when he used the word "dangerous" in reference to a live Queen show. Last nite was an great example of "dangerous" IMO. A combination of unpredictable, exciting, sexy, raw and real. You have a hightly anticipated event...30 yr anniversary, huge crowd......it's being televised and streamed worldwide.....you throw in some tech issues, some audio ear monitor issues, some lyric fails, horribly hot, humid weather...all mixed in with adrenaline......and you wind up with an AWESOME SHOW! ( I do admit my heart stopped beating for a few seconds during Save Me when we lost audio, but I recovered and the show picked right back up and carried on)
