I think many might feel "disappointed" in the broadcast sound, because when the lucky ones of us saw it live, the wall of sound and the crowd reverberated in one's body--which was a huge part of the live experience. I'm so grateful that we got the voices/instruments front and center on the broadcast stream, because it was possible to hear the vocal nuances so much better than live. I thought Roger's beloved gravelly voice sounded exceptionally good last night--much better than live, actually, because it wasn't "swallowed" by competing sounds.
Also, I don't think Adam could have "flown" so high if he wasn't feeling it from the crowd.
I just wanted to mention something I've thought about often-- how difficult it must be to embrace the crowd singing along while you're performing. Confident, humble Adam "shares" the experience so well with the fans, while still entertaining them--combination ringmaster and high wire act.

I also absolutely adore hearing his light beautiful voice, with exactly the right amount of variation, rise above and complement the crowd. Gives me goosebumps. |

Coming up for air after WWTLF. We need a DVD of this show! I haven't seen anyone mention this. Maybe I missed it. Adam's tattoos seem to have some gold highlights on them. Has he added gold? Can a tattoo have gold paint? Or did he use some of those stick on metallic things? He used the metallic ones he's been using. Temporary! Oh nice! He wants to draw more focus to his already beautiful tattoos, i like that |
