Mark Bowles who did all those wonderful QAL compilation videos on YT is a member here, isn't he? At least a lurker? Mark, if you are reading, how about a playlist of individual songs from the Rio concert? I know you have loaded the whole concert on YT, but I am afraid we will soon lose that. Also I love your other playlists where I can jump right to the song I want at the time I want it. I'm sure this will happen sooner or later. But at the moment all of the techies are very busy downloading everything that pops up before it becomes unavailable. This includes YouTube downloads, Torrent downloads, and other downloads of web rips and TV rips, some of which are as large as over 16 GB. And then where possible uploading these files for download by other folks. Eventually, most of this stuff will be archived at Devenlane's blog site at (click on "Download Folder"): www.adamlambertmedia.com/2015/09/2015-09-18-concert-rock-in-rio-at-city.html?spref=twPlus Mark is having some problems with this computer, so I'm not sure how much or when he will be able to do things. But, non-techies can help!!! A big portion of the time that it takes to split the full concert video files into individual song files is deciding exactly where to do the split. For those of us who are very meticulous, wanting to find the exact best spot, this can be VERY time consuming. So what would help is for someone to make a list of the individual songs and find the exact time where they should be split. This can be done from Mark's YT video, or if someone has a better video, please suggest it. It is usually easier to do this using a download of the full concert video in a local media player on your PC. Make the list look something like: 01 - One Vision hh:mm:ss 02 - Cold Stone Crazy hh:mm:ss etc where hh = hour, mm = minute, ss = second. Please be accurate down to the exact second! And include the exact song title as it should appear in the video file with a 2 digit number indicating the order of the song! (Use a 2-digit number, with leading zero if under 10, so that the songs show up in the correct order in a computer file listing!) (If your media player displays fractions of a second, give that also, but most don't.) The individual files could be made available for download without the need for merging files after download. Then folks could easily make a DVD from the individual files using their favorite DVD making software. And DVD's made with individual song files will automatically be chaptered at each song, i.e., you can use the forward and backward arrows on your DVD player remote to move forward and backward between the songs!!!

Thanks for posting this link, 4EverAdam! I just watched I Want to Break Free and it's great to see it from an audience perspective, and I was particularly enjoying the crowd reaction near the end. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs9sveL1x6QThis is Love of My Life and crowd singing along and the camera perspective gives a real idea of what the sound must have been like throughout the show. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT3buQadzx8

Devenlane has the first 5 files of this uploaded to her Mega archives, more in progress: Dancy, I am only quoting this because I want to make sure you see it. I wanted to thank you for the suggestion last night to watch the concert with earphones. I have one of the great pairs that you recommended but I hadn't thought of it since I was watching on my TV. At your post, I raced upstairs and grabbed them and enjoyed every minute of the concert. Thanks again.

Good for you justkaren...what fun...hope we get a pic of you swinging on that thing ala Curt... Can anyone explain why I decided to 'google' Rock in Rio 2015 performance list and times' and all I get is pages of Rock in Rio USA [the May Vegas show] rehashings and etc....a 6 mos past Vegas copy dominates google and the original is nowhere to be found. In the first two pages there is...low on 2nd page...a couple of ads for ticket resellers and one press release archive. Why do these things happen and why would someone think it is ok to create some sort of SEO algorithm that demolishes all in its path long after the event has passed...grrrr Has anyone come across a simple list anywhere? Why would the official Rockin Rio site not come up? Am I doing something wrong? try this as a search, Rio came up for me: rock in rio in rio

Just a reminder --
1. It will be hard to get spins on any iHeart stations this weekend because of the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
2. I think that GT is close to done now. It had a new mid-week peak at #21 this week -- and has a real shot of hitting the Top 20. But they will switch the focus to ALN soon.
