A milestone, better late than never?!  Sacramento is the first station to give GT 100 spins a week! That's 14 times a day, guys! skaschep, if GT had hit #20 maybe 2-3 weeks earlier, as it was rising, many stations would have kicked in (might have gotten it to 15-17). But with ALN right around the corner, not sure WBR would have pushed GT anymore anyway. GT has paved the way for ALN though & I expect its climb to be easier and faster. Plus, I think it is a song listeners will immediately love. That being said, there actually are stations that have kicked in, WIHT in DC and the Tampa station. There are also stations that had slowed down that picked back up, Vegas and Palm Springs. But it is too little too late. I totally agree with this, Top 20 is a very significant milestone regardless of when it occurred. ALN can be introduced with the wording, "building on his Top 20 hit single ..." and it won't be WWFM.  After the Trespassing Era, that sounds so good. FURCA! |

After the Trespassing era, it is downright incredible! WBR had so much to overcome & they did a brilliant job! Getting KIIS LA, alone, would have been fabulous! But getting the Top 4 markets in the US? Well, that is just amazing!! You're right, Linda! "Top 20 hit" is everything! No one says, "Top 17!"  |

After the Trespassing era, it is downright incredible! WBR had so much to overcome & they did a brilliant job! Getting KIIS LA, alone, would have been fabulous! But getting the Top 4 markets in the US? Well, that is just amazing!! You're right, Linda! "Top 20 hit" is everything! No one says, "Top 17!" Exactly! JFC! Platten is still above GT, just by 7 spins! Hopefully tomorrow back to 21 but by Sunday Goulding and may be King will pass... I guess it doesn't matter at this point anyway, on 10/4 GT will go recurrent and a lot of us here will learn everything there is to know about the recurrent charts... The only thing I am regretting is that my dream of seeing two Adam songs on the charts concurrently will not come true...well, may be next time. All is good!  |

Not sure how this will affect GT's radio release, but DeRulo's new single is going for adds on Oct. 20th. So, I'd say we can eliminate that date for ALN.

For a single, it seems to me that the milestones are Top 20, Top 10, and No 1. Here's hoping ALN hits all of those (but 10 is my realistic hope). Great spin times for Z100!
