“Ghost Town” still at #20 but the clock is ticking! Let's see it out in style. Let's fire up the requests, thumbs, and keep this song on the Pop Charts until October.
As of now, it is still #20 on US Pop/CHR/Top 40 Radio. And it has a shot of being on the Pop airplay charts for a few more weeks. My guess is that WB will continue to support this single on US radio until they are ready to release “Another Lonely Night.” And that release will most likely happen after Adam returns from South America and has a few days off.
UPDATE: I have re-looked at the numbers and talked to a few people I trust who know more than me. Their advice is that it is time to move on and fan requests won't have much impact now. :( I have never been a fan of trying to hold back the tide -- and the tide is going out now. Let's save our passion and energy for SPOTIFY and STREAMING to help GT go gold in the US and Canada, and wait for ALN.
"Ghost Town" spin decrease due to iHeartRadio Music Festival
When will ALN be released in the US?
All we know if that the focus in the US is still on "Ghost Town." Your guess on the ALN impact date is as good as mine.
When a single is released to radio it is first serviced to radio (sent to the stations) and then usually 2 weeks later the song has an impact date - the date the song is supposed to make an airplay impact and be played. My guess is that ALN will have an impact data of 10/13 or 10/20.
When will “Ghost Town” finish its radio run?
“Ghost Town” has been on pop radio charts for an amazing 142 days!
It will be removed from the Mediabase Pop airplay chart (but still played) when it goes recurrent (gets too old) on October 4 AND has two negative updates after those 20 weeks on the official Sunday chart..
Billboard also has recurrent rules - “Ghost Town” is currently Hot 100 #63 week 13, Adult Pop Songs #18, week 12. Descending songs are removed from the Billboard Hot 100 after 20 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and if ranking below No. 50. Descending songs are removed from Adult Contemporary, Adult Top 40 (Adult Pop) and Adult R&B after 20 weeks if ranking below No. 15, after 26 weeks if ranking below No. 10, or after 52 weeks if ranking below No. 5.

New setlist for last night’s concert!

Last night was only the 3rd Q+AL concert that did not end the main set with “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The other two times that a Q+AL concert did not end the main set with BoRhap where two significant concerts:
• 2013 iHeartRadio when they started with BoRhap (short version).
• 2014 BBC NYE Concert when BoRhap was the start of the encore.
Queen, on the other hand, did not end the main set with BoRhap on many occasions and, like last night, Queen did end the main set with Radio Gaga in 1984, 1985 and 1986. BoRhap, but ended the main set with Radio Gaga.
The setlist change, did four important things:
1. It ended the main set on an upbeat, audience participation song. I like this flow a lot!
2. It moved the two Freddie tribute parts of the concert into the main body of the concert. Still present but not the end note of the main concert.
3. Made the focus more about Q+AL now and a bit less about Queen in the past. I try to "live in the now", so while I am a huge Queen fan and cherish my memories of Queen's original incarnation, I also love and adore this Q+AL incarnation.
4. Treats Adam like the star he has become.
Now, if they would just let Adam sing all of “Bohemian Rhapsody” and use the video only for the opera/”heads” section, I would be really happy. I love Freddie but 3D Adam is > than 2D Freddie. I want this whole concert to be live, live, live. Figures crossed!
(I own a great big screen and sound system, if I want to watch Freddie sing with Queen, I have it at my demand.)
Regarding the rest of the setlist, and the lack of a few songs, I figure they’ll be back. I hope when these songs are restored, they keep the marvelous, upbeat main set ending of "Radio Gaga"

WATCH: Adam Lambert Performs "Ghost Town" With Queen
The out singer is touring with the legendary rock band.

Out singer Adam Lambert has shared a video of himself performing his single "Ghost Town" with the legendary rock band Queen.
Lambert is currently serving as front man for Queen on the band's tour of South America. Lambert replaces the band's original lead singer, Freddie Mercury, who died of complications from AIDS in 1991.
During Friday's stop at the famed Rock in Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro, the quartet performed a rock version of Lambert's single with Brian May adding new guitar parts.
