:( I have talked to a few of my friends in radio and they advise me that requests will not help Ghost Town. I guess it really is time to move on.
'( I am going to update my post on page one and start getting ready for ALN.
I think I fell into a "fan vision" trap.

So Rio was fun! Soundcheck is currently crashing around the empty arena, we've had Roger having a particular harsh run on the kit, a run through of 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' and 'I Want It All' is currently being played with, Adam is focusing on his vocals unaccompanied between songs. I popped outside between showers and said 'Hello' to a couple of fans that I know and have made the trip over from the UK. They are here early to get to front of the general admission standing area or sponsored 'The Bud Zone' as it is officially called. Local hospitality is looking after them too, staff from the venue had come out and offered them chairs to sit on, knowing they had a long wait until showtime, how nice is that? It's the little things. Our last show in Brazil is now upon us, the band sound pretty tight out there at the moment and there has even been a little tinkering with the set list. Let's go out with a bang, huh Porto Alegre? Argentina, get ready...you're next. Nick There you go...perfectionist and great work ethic...makes it look so easy. So admire that in Adam!  |

My nephew was here on a short visit enroute to Manila (he finished his PhD in Molecular Biology at the Univ of Paris - wrote and defended his thesis in French - so proud of him). He knows of my love for Adam but does not really know him. Last Saturday, after brunch, I asked him where he wanted to go (sightsee? shopping?), he asked instead if I had videos of Adam. Wow, I guess he just wanted to decompress. We spent hours watching videos, RIR, the BBC NYE, iHeart and Adam's Idol run. He was in awe and could really see how much Adam has evolved, even though he thought even at Idol he already had star quality. He is a big Queen fan and said that Adam is just as good as Freddie.
He just sent me an email from Manila and thanked me for introducing him to Adam and asked me to send him links to more videos. Should I tell him to join Adamtopia - the best source for all things Adam?
