This is coming from a dinosaur of this thread. I began with Planet Fierce in 2009, and following Adam has been part of my life since that time. Many of us followed the entire relationship of Adam/Sauli for two years. What's happening now is not 'shipping' - this is remembering and relating to Adam's life and his happiness of several years ago. Through Adam's tweets; through the media; through actually meeting Sauli at the 2012 concerts in London, many of us who are still here remember a great deal about their relationship, their 'household', their break-up. So, for us, seeing Sauli in Buenos Aires is not our telling of 'fan fiction'; we are not fantasizing to a greater degree than anyone here who has fun with the GB or the pants or the (beautiful) backside or the profile or even the armpits. We are playing - - - just as Adam plays with us - with the mic stand, with the hip thrusts, with the tongue and the licks. This part; these comments about Sauli in Buenos Aires, are meant to be speculative joy, and I am surprised that it's okay to talk about every aspect of AFL; but somehow to wonder if Adam might be with Sauli, in Buenos Aires, is considered off limits by some. Adam found joy with Sauli - why should it be off-limits to imagine what their association might be now? I've been reticent about posting since last May - when the furor over 'older Glamberts' hit the proverbial shit fan. I'm really beyond caring what others think, anymore. I'm here for Adam. End of story. There, I said it. I won't apologize anymore. Boy. Has this site changed. This site and the fandom has not really changed very much. I wish it would evolve to be a bit more rational about Adam and his relationships with other men. But for some reason, when Sauli (or anyone else sexually linked to Adam) enters his life, this forum (and many other Adam fan places) goes sideways. There has been a struggle about Adam-Sauli discussions and prior to that Adam-Drake discussions and Adam-Cheeks discussions across this fandom. I have requested a balance since the beginning -- it is OK to discuss Adam's partners and friends whenever they are part of Adam's life. It is not OK to turn this forum discussion into a length Sauli (or other partner./ex-partner/friend of Adam) discussion. Sauli is in Argentina for one reason -- Adam is there. So it is OK to discuss Sauli in Argentina. ****

Please do not post about what is appropriate to be posted on this forum or evaluate comments unless you are a moderator. Let the moderators do their job. **** There are many members of this forum who go back to Planet Fierce in 2009 and a few of us who go back to the Idol era on MJSBigBlog when we were sent away and told to not post so much about Adam. (It was a time when one Idol concert with a 25 minute Adam set would result in literally over 1,000 posts -- many about Adam's latest hair style. I suspect we were a bit Adam-centric.  ) There are also many members who have been posting here for a short time. Everyone's opinion is equal here. **** Yom Kippur ended at sunset tonight. I mostly stayed away from ATop for the past day (I really should not have been here at all!) -- so I have no idea what went on specifically. But I am sure that I have seen worse in the past. Please try to be kind and respectful to members -- even members who have opinions and interests and feelings that you do not agree with. There are a lot of ways to be an Adam fan. As long as you are having a good time, and bringing joy to other people. Cool. If you are posting things that do not add positively to the Adam fan experience, please think twice before you click "Create Post". **** Sorry for the soapbox post. Perhaps I can blame it on finally eating after a 25 hour fast. Or perhaps I can blame it on spending the past day thinking about the past year of my life and hoping for the grace to live a better life and be a better person. I know I have a lot of work to do and do not feel like I have much right to tell anyone else what is right. |

Have anyone seen the Weight Watchers TV commercial with a female vocalist singing AOBTD? Pretty terrible cover. I think they really missed this one and could have really attracted their female target audience with an Adam + Queen cover. (I list Adam first because he is the part that would attract their target audience.)

I'm thinking Adam has a great friendship with Sauli. They've had many experiences together and with all the promo Adam has done and is still doing, plus the QAL SA tour, I'm certain having a friend along is appreciated. Sauli is still clearly a part of Adam's life and I'm happy for both of them. And Q3, a 25 hour fast would make me insane. Or that would be the time a neighbor would knock with some food. Bless you!
