dotsgirl02 - I think Adam and Sauli have a great friendship - a history and a love. I looked at your avi and see YOU have a rescue dog that will be '18 in November'! Zipper, our little dog, filled our lives with indescribable joy for 18 years . . . I know Minnie will do the same for you. I had a bearded collie that we shared so much love with for 18 1/2 years. I'm thinking Adam has a great friendship with Sauli. They've had many experiences together and with all the promo Adam has done and is still doing, plus the QAL SA tour, I'm certain having a friend along is appreciated. Sauli is still clearly a part of Adam's life and I'm happy for both of them. And Q3, a 25 hour fast would make me insane. Or that would be the time a neighbor would knock with some food. Bless you! Thankfully, the sun sets a bit early this time of year in NE Ohio -- we get to eat after sunset.  And we have a lovely, huge dinner to break the fast! |

This is coming from a dinosaur of this thread. I began with Planet Fierce in 2009, and following Adam has been part of my life since that time. Many of us followed the entire relationship of Adam/Sauli for two years. What's happening now is not 'shipping' - this is remembering and relating to Adam's life and his happiness of several years ago. Through Adam's tweets; through the media; through actually meeting Sauli at the 2012 concerts in London, many of us who are still here remember a great deal about their relationship, their 'household', their break-up. So, for us, seeing Sauli in Buenos Aires is not our telling of 'fan fiction'; we are not fantasizing to a greater degree than anyone here who has fun with the GB or the pants or the (beautiful) backside or the profile or even the armpits. We are playing - - - just as Adam plays with us - with the mic stand, with the hip thrusts, with the tongue and the licks. This part; these comments about Sauli in Buenos Aires, are meant to be speculative joy, and I am surprised that it's okay to talk about every aspect of AFL; but somehow to wonder if Adam might be with Sauli, in Buenos Aires, is considered off limits by some. Adam found joy with Sauli - why should it be off-limits to imagine what their association might be now? I've been reticent about posting since last May - when the furor over 'older Glamberts' hit the proverbial shit fan. I'm really beyond caring what others think, anymore. I'm here for Adam. End of story. There, I said it. I won't apologize anymore. Boy. Has this site changed. I'd went to the Barnes & Noble cd signing and had a great time with the WOMEN there. I'm 62 and happy to be so, as so many people don't get to live to a mature age. Yes, my family was half and half about me leaving my home 3:30 am to get to NY by 7am and all the people...I heard it all. But there's no age limit on having fun and living, particularly when there are so many young people who don't get a chance to age. So if I want to go somewhere I'm going and no one has to like it. I choose to support Adam's music and if I choose to travel to see a show or and event, that's what I'll do. All the fans in NY were lovely, plus before going I'd assured my family, I'd be more than safe with fellow Adam fans and it wasn't important I didn't know anyone. So, if I get another opportunity, I'll be jumping at the chance to go. |

Since both Adam and Sauli are adults for quite a Long time now, and were Adults when they met for the first time, i don't see any reason for us fans to have bad Feelings or concerns about Adam' relationship now or then.
I find it fun to speculate, no harm done, These are grown up People, whatever they do with each other or not, is consensual. I believe that we as fans are allowed to have fun with our speculation, we don't harm anyone, and Adam is in NO WAY ASEXUAL. Shipping him with attractive men is just a fun speculation, no harm done.

We all love Adam and part of our (at least for me) attraction to him, besides of course his VOICE and LOOKS and CHARM, seems to be his LOVE TO BE PLAYFUL IN LIVE.
We as fans are also allowed to be playful in speculating here in Adamtopia.
These are TWO OUT and PROUD men.
It is not like any of us write fanfiction about them, we just talk.

Actually Minnie had a second operation end of last month, but I still have her and so love her. Guess I only got out to the 2 QAL shows (Philly and AC) and the cd signing in NY. But had such a good time at those that spending the summer nursing Minnie was more than okay. We are back out and about and I'm happy to have this positive outcome. I love this fandom. |

Have anyone seen the Weight Watchers TV commercial with a female vocalist singing AOBTD? Pretty terrible cover. I think they really missed this one and could have really attracted their female target audience with an Adam + Queen cover. (I list Adam first because he is the part that would attract their target audience.) Yes, it plays quite frequently in Philadelphia. Always find myself looking up when it comes on, but it's not Freddie or Adam, ahh such disappointment. |

Oh yes, we do have QAL soundcheck from at least one previous tour stop. Here is the brilliant WWTLF soundcheck from Wroclav. A voice that soars beyond that gigantic concrete jungle of a huge stadium and a large parking lot, as if that is how it is supposed to be heard, crystal clear and divine, perfect, without any sound optimization wizardry/gadget/tricks or anything. Just so pure, that there is no interference, even across this long distance. Adam has proved quite a master, when he wants to hide. The two have clearly no interest to hide here. They are freely sharing. My thoughts are: There are many new fans now, who have not been around for the many years, when the two were together, but who are following Adam now. Clearly, they are not to be left behind, he is holding his cards for the world to see, and plays with those who are willing to pay attention. The same as he has always done and we are loving him for it, just as much as we are loving him for his voice, or looks or fashion sense or attitudes. |

I don't think its an age thing, that's a bit ageist. In terms of going to meet and greets, if an 18 year old went to 100 lol well that is a bit excessive. If your middle aged, you have every right to see Adam every time you want. I think these issues arise as Adams fanbase is 0-100, so it involves people of walks of life. But as it is a fandom, everyone is welcome. While I kinda don't like discussing anything to do with Adams personal life, I don't see the relevance to anything, I respect people who want to.
