I didn't know Adam back then, so I didn;t know about this. Did Adam talk about this period in his life later? Could someone fill me in what happened? I am not the best person to answer your question, as I do not recall the details, but Adam has said that was a dark period in his life. Many artists find it difficult to adjust after an extended tour. I think it is a mental, emotional, physical and chemical adjustment. He went from Idol, to Idol tour, to album release, to controversy and press blitz, to GNT. His every minute was planned. He was surrounded by handlers, staff, fellow performers, and fans. Then, the tour ends, and BAM, nothing. No home (he was staying in a hotel while waiting to get into the home he rented), no schedule, no performances, no purpose to get up, and no adrenaline rushes daily. Adam is very much a "people person," and it was hard for him to go from being surrounded by people to being totally alone. What ended up pulling him out of his depression? Many people think it was Sauli. Falling in love, having a companion at home, exploring things and experiencing things together, bringing excitement back into his life, and maybe the endorphins of infatuation replacing the rush of adrenaline. That may be one reason fans have a special place in their heart for Sauli. He gave Adam what he needed at a difficult time in his life. I'm sure other fans can tell you much more about that period of his life, but that is the gist I remember. I can totally understand that this was a very hard and depressing time for Adam. It was like going from all to nothing. Thank you for your explanation

Ran across this and recalled fans wishing and hoping for a video. Guess we may get our wishes..kind of. Think its going to be original Queen lineup and also Adam with Bri and Roger. www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/night-odeon-video A Night at the Odeon, release date 11/13/15. Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert. I would not get too excited. Admin has already stated they were (rightfully)NOT going to be mixing Queen era and QAL era releases together. So I think of Adam is in this release at all it may be :05-:10 during a modern a Brian/Roger interview about the Hammersmith gig from 1975 they may mention returning in 1979 and again talk about returning in 2012 where they may show a few seconds of stock footage of a 2012 gig. I would be extremely shocked if there was a full song even orr even an Adam interview. I would be surprised if he was in it at all. Those credit things are thrown together and Adam being involved with Queen projects now was enough to put him in there for now. I was thinking perhaps a release of the Odeon (now called Hammersmith) original lineup of Queen and also maybe??? a disc of the QAL Hammersmith show. That would satisfy Queen fans getting a cd of Queen, FM, JD, RT, BM and then for QAL fans a disc with Adam. Aah maybe wishful thinking.

Not a bad concept but reading into my sources - no chance - that would be too close to "mixing" the products. They almost view it as two separate entities - Queen and Queen +. Even more than B and R do...:which is probably the safest avenue to take. You don't want to upset any part of your fsnbase and separate products won't upset Queen + or Queeb and Queen + fans while a mixed product night upset those who are simply Queen fans
