Of course they'll continue to play GT, it's Adam's biggest hit since WWFM! I expect if they televise more than one song on those shows he'll do both GT and ALN. But I personally don't see GT going much higher on Top 40 radio, and it certainly seems to be dropping on HAC, so when ALN comes out the promo emphasis will shift to push it up the charts. I always thought that the biggest his since WWFM was IIHY, since it peaked at #30 on the Billboard Hot 100, and peaked higher than GT on pop and adult pop, and has almost 900K in sales in the US. GT seems to have charted in more countries, however. I guess I forgot about IIHY, since they hardly ever played it on the radio where I live and I've heard GT a lot. You're probably right. I should have said his biggest hit since 2010. |

This is for Sophie and Nic - Just heard from a friend who went to Argentina as a birthday present. Very sturdy and stalwart fan who made it to the barriers and as she just said, is still finding bruises. Crowd was surging and she almost could not breathe. Also said they waited like that for three hours before the concert started and could not move or spot would be lost. She had on three shirts and a sweater and two pairs of leggings and the guy next to her was shivering the whole time. As she intimated, it was the agony and the ecstasy!
Rock and Roll baby but poor mom who had never been to a concert was not a happy camper. Can you imagine?
ETA. Just talked her mom into going to Houston to prove it isn't always like that. LOL
