This is for Sophie and Nic - Just heard from a friend who went to Argentina as a birthday present. Very sturdy and stalwart fan who made it to the barriers and as she just said, is still finding bruises. Crowd was surging and she almost could not breathe. Also said they waited like that for three hours before the concert started and could not move or spot would be lost. She had on three shirts and a sweater and two pairs of leggings and the guy next to her was shivering the whole time. As she intimated, it was the agony and the ecstasy! Rock and Roll baby but poor mom who had never been to a concert was not a happy camper. Can you imagine? ETA. Just talked her mom into going to Houston to prove it isn't always like that. LOL
Theosgma......have been hearing snippets of a Brit friend there all week. She travels a lot and is well able to take care of herself. She has been saying the same thing - she's been terrified a couple of times and was in amongst pushing, shoving, kicking and even fighting in the crowd at the front in Buenos Aries.....  |
