True but always seems the case with Adam, his best performance is the first one or televised one haha. I loved his RIR one, the way he growled Ghost Town, it was a side you don't see to his voice, seeing it is a very polished voice. Reminded me of Freddies tone a bit. I am hoping he corperates Ghost Town Rock Version in his Solo Tour, as he should, I well be at one of his first shows in NZ haha. Less is more for me when it comes to the naturally gifted and charismatic Adam Lambert. I just watched DSMN - one of my favorite songs on the set - and I liked it much better than the "over the top" one in Buenos Aires. If you're alluding to the finger gestures... I'm with you there (ducks and runs...).

I see that it's already been translated better while I was doing my "research," but I'll just share anyway that the guy who wrote that caption has a photo on his Instagram page where he's kissing Sam Smith. And he has a photo with a guy he calls "baby" (this could be some celebrity I don't recognize) and another photo from about eight months ago with Tom Daley and the caption reads, "Nice to meet you, where you been? I could show you incredible things." That's as far back as I looked. So while his caption on his photo with Adam might seem like a slur translated literally, it seems to be slang that turns those words around. That said, true homophobic remarks directed toward Adam and Queen are extremely disturbing.
Great to see Adam promoting one of his upcoming concerts for a radio station. I have been wondering why, other than retweeting Duran Duran's message to him, he never tweeted about the Fresh Fall Fest. But maybe it's because he's not headlining? Or maybe he just forgot he hadn't let fans/potential ticket buyers know about it.

Agreed that he looks amazing and that he gets hotter every day, but I wouldn't consider him an angel I think there's still a good dose of "naughty" in him. All good.

He is right, I watched a couple of RiR twitter hashtags during the performance, it was brutal. I expected the usual push-back against Adam as frontman for Queen but there was way more homophobia than I expected. Sadz Well if they were suppose to be Queen fans and really loved Freddie...how the f*uck can they have such disgusting minds when it comes to Adam's orientation? I don't call their loving Freddie as anything but superficial blabber...not true respect and apprecistion of who he was as a human being. So......they can sing along and enjoy Adam performing Freddie/Queen songs and then turn around and spew homophobic sh*t?! I just keep telling myself that these hurtful people will all have to look at who they 'really' are in the mirror some day and it won't be pretty! Sorry for my little rant. I am wondering if Sam Smith got the same homophobic reactions. He's "different", of course, and probably less threatening. I wasn't on twitter during Q&A's RIR performance, but if there was such homophobic reaction, I'm surprised that Adam was definitely "going for it" in Buenos Aires.

I just keep telling myself that these hurtful people will all have to look at who they 'really' are in the mirror some day and it won't be pretty! Sorry for my little rant. Just a few thoughts.... 1. A lot of morons on Twitter (and elsewhere) like to troll. Even when they go to concerts. They think it is funny. (At least on Twitter troll was using a RIR hashtag but was not watching the concert.) I wish the trolls would all craw under bridges. They are tiresome. But it is a game -- that I chose to ignore. 2. Some people are homophobic. Just the way it is. Freddie also had issues in South American -- most famously when he performed in what the crowd thought was drag for a performance of "I Want to Break Free" -- but on many other occasions. 3. Adam pushes a few boundaries in his Q+AL performances -- and not just boundaries for straight people in the audience. I played a couple videos from Q+AL (WWTLF and SM) for a gay friend. He really like it. Then I started to play KQ -- and I had to stop because he clearly was uncomfortable with the "cabaret gayness" of this performance. My friend is not homophobic -- he is a gay man who is somewhat conservative in personal presentation and style. 4. Some Queen fans were homophobic in the 1970's and particularly 1980's. My experience: Back in the 70's most US Queen fans did not realize Freddie was gay. His on-stage persona was no "gayer" than Mick Jagger or many other rock frontman. When Queen shifted from rock to pop and started performing dance music + put out the Coronation Street parody video, US fans started to get an idea. The 1982 US and Canadian concerts had many incidents where fans were downright rude to Freddie. Somehow this has been forgotten. After this tour, Freddie/Queen never toured in the US -- this was odd since he was living in NYC for most of 1984. Brian, Roger, and their label team wanted them to tour the US for The Works tour. Freddie refused. If Adam was straight, he would have people who mocked him for being too ___________ or too ____________. It just happens to be that haters can pull out the gay card. But to quote the poet of our age "Haters gonna hate." It is the start of a new year for me, and I plan to focus on the high notes and goodness in the world. A few haters are not gonna make me hate anyone -- even haters. I feel sorry for them -- I feel sorry that their world lacks a key voice on its soundtrack -- just because that voice comes from a man who is gay. **** Now back to the amazing Buenos Aires videos! OMG -- I am just catching up and seeing them. I read the threads earlier and though you all were exaggerating. You weren't. OMFG!
