This vid could go viral..one time getting a virus is a very good thing..  That is a virus that could be very good to get.  No sign of anything viral happening here, just the press and tweets and iHR website promo is kicking in. It could happen. ;-) But a lot of new video competition today, Demi, Nick Jonas, Becky G and so on I really like this video, hopefully it will catch on and continue to gain traction. It is a shame that WB does not do Vevo, Adam has many more subscribers there and it seems to be more the go to place for hot videos. Speaking of viral, that gum short-film commercial with Hailey Reinheart is going nuts. It is definitely viral. |

I haven't read the whole thread, so my questions may have been answered. I have all the TALC videos from Fall Fest except the Encore songs. Were those ever posted? Checked the TALC site with no luck. The Sunrise video wouldn't play...an error message something about an invalid ID. Is it on YT or somewhere else? Did anyone keep track to compare how ALN video is doing vs GT video when it was first released. ALN has almost 140 T plays in a little less than 24 hours. I'm thinking maybe GT racked up plays faster since it was the first video. No idea though.... We will be tracking the ALN video over on the number threads at midnight eastern every night. Right now it is tracking above GT. |

Here is a late night slash morning post: I flove the MV but just as much for the voice as much as the "this aint me" feeling it gives me. I love to be alone, I love the song, the MV is gorgeous, but I enjoyit with a certain distachment. Watching him in live concerts does a lot more for me ... waiting paitently for our turn ... What are you doing up at this hour? I know exactly what you mean!! Cleveland show has a ton of great tickets, why not fly over. People come here for our December weather!!  Nope, sorry. Europe is my hard limit, as much as I regret it. But in a recdnt interview he promised, to come to Austria as well and I am racking up vacation days and other brownie points for 2016 (road trip). I am ready!! |

Aln may get more traction now GT is a hit, Adam has more name recognition. So if Aln is getting more views count, maybe a factor. Adams not the type of artist to get millions of views in hrs, hes not Taylor (who is), unless Aln goes viral, could. Really like the mv, his best one to date i think. Really like Gt mv too tho.

The TALC ladies tweeted earlier today that they are uploading on a very slow internet connection, so it is taking them much longer than usual to get all of their videos uploaded. Looks like they have one left to upload. ETA - Looks like all of their videos are uploaded now. |

She seems to have a large following, and her fans are loyal, and on top of things. Remind me in intensity a bit of one other fan base, lol. Her tweet pushed the numbers up big time, and you can see her fan's presence also in the comment section. That moment in the video, when the two are getting married, and you see her face looking straight through a heart shaped opening between the couple, and she then slowly lowers her eyes, is a very poignant and powerful moment in the video. Well done. Adam chose very well, and I am glad to see that he gets finally a bit of recognition for the diversity he is bringing to his videos. It is the first time, I am seeing it commented on, in media articles. Adam, of course, has been doing it for years. ==================================== While we are on the topic of diversity and accuracy, can I just point out....it's a pet peeve of mine....so forgive me, if it was noted before, but.... saying, I am sorry I expressed myself in such an such way - is an apology saying, I am sorry my message was such that it got misunderstood - is an apology saying, I am sorry you feel this way - is not an apology, because you cannot apologize for somebody else's behavior or perceptions. Like I said, pet peeve of mine. I.e. when I say, 'I am sorry that so many people's feelings got hurt', I am not giving an apology, because I obviously had nothing to do with either side, it just means, I am recognizing and understanding the strong feelings on both sides and I am sympathetic to what is being expressed. And that certainly is heartfelt, because I get, that people feel hurt. Also get, that nobody meant badly, with any of it. |
