I don't think it looks like a residence at all. Looks like the back of something. My guess, Macy Gray and Adam were at the same studio. The Cherry's were hanging out with Adam to watch him record someting. You know the area. It looks like a back yard to me. Is that Alisan and a little girl in the background? Would a studio be that small? I always picture a studio having multiple stories. Some recording studios are pretty small and have been converted from something else, like a house, a store. Things like that. I guess I just can't think of anyone's house that would have Adam and Macy Gray at it? :-/ I'll bet Lee will put more photos on his FB though and we will soon know exactly where it was. |

I am not a huge Neil Diamond fan -- but love his songs -- but he is blowing off the roof at the Billboard Awards. Without any guys in bird costumes, lap dancers or red seahorses. Also, it is a sad day for music when the best performance on the Billboard awards is done by an "old guy" who now has to speak sing most of his lyrics. Saw Neil at Hollywood Bowl 2 years ago. He blew the roof (figuratively)off the place. Every age group, sex, ethnicity, race was in the audience. people stood up and danced to his music all night. And he sounded great! HE IS SUCH A LOW KEY GUY, YOU WOULD NEVER THINK HE WOULD COMMAND SUCH AUDIENCE ADORATION, BUT HE PACKS THEMS IN and blows everybody away. |

Hee, I totally think it totally looks like apartment buildings or a house and apartment buildings. Apparently it IS a residence (according to Twitter - iron clad); it's a baby shower for Carmit. She announced she was pregnant on Twitter a few days ago and Lee and Scarlett have alluded to a shower. There you go, kittykay. You are right! It's a house. :D Awww, a baby shower! I love when Adam does everyday normal things! |

But since Macy Gray and Adam both live in North Hollywood, I would not be surprised if they knew each other.
ETA: Macy Gray was at the same event -- reported to be a shower.

I'll add to the Neil Diamond love. Been a fan since the 70's. I actually fell in love with Neil Diamond because of the Jonathan Livingston Seagull soundtrack. There was no dialogue to this animated movie but the music told the story so well. I read the book afterwards and couldn't believe how much I felt like I had already read it just due to the music. Bought every album of his up until the early 80's when I just stopped buying anything for a long time. Loved "The Jazz Singer" movie as well. I finally got to see him live in the 90's and he was incredible. I believe it was at the Cajun Dome in Lafayette, LA large stadium venue and he totally rocked the house with an awesome show.
