FoxVegas Bren by citygirl36 Adam's autographed photos for Charity: Water are on their way! More being sent in waves, so if you don't have yours yet, you will soon!"\0/" Well that's cool. There's still hope. I thought for sure that I would not get mine, but it was for charity, and didn't seem right to complain!

Q3, I loved the political action and info thread in Adamtopia 1. Can we start a political action thread here and put it near the members (personal stuff) thread? With all the links to the petitions to sign in the header. Really like this idea...

Lindsay Parker gives a link to Lee Dewyze's brothers Twitter page. His tweets are not too cool to say the least. He is wiping away all the sorrow I have for Lee. The brother sent a tweet to Nigel calling him a scumbag. He didn't have kind words for the producers either.

I feel sorry for the guy: LeeDeWyze Lee DeWyze by Squirrely007 Hey guys, no I'm not performing at the Finale. I wasn't asked to . A lot of questions so I thought I'd fill you in. Talk to you soon I may be in the minority of one, but I don't feel sorry for Lee. He is like tens of thousands of other struggling singer/songwriters with guitars around the country who search long and hard for gigs in local clubs and bars hoping for their big break. Lee got his break -- although I don't see anything unique or extra talented about him that I haven't seen in many local performers who hold down day jobs while trying to book gigs on Friday and Saturday night. He got exposure in front of 30 million viewers week after week on Idol, toured the country as the headliner on the Idol tour, made a record, and now has steady work doing what he loves to do. It is up to him to make the most out of this rare opportunity and these wonderful contacts he now has. If his talent, skill, originality, and charisma don't win him a large following and music business acclaim, that's squarely on him. I know that sounds callous, but that is the music biz, guys. I checked out what he is up to currently, and he has a summer tour booked in what looks like mostly college campuses and clubs around the country. I watched a couple of tour performances on YT, and he has the typical WGWG line up; himself with guitar at the mic, with a keyboard backup and a drummer. That lineup and performance style fits the venues in which he is booked. Tens of thousands of singers/guitar players/piano players dream of hitting it big and becoming a star. They are lucky if they can find consistent work in a club on weekends. I know. I have a sister who is immensely musically talented, and has a gig two nights a week at a local bar, which is constantly threatening to close. She is one of a handful of piano stylists who even work in her town. That's reality. Lee has had the dream with Idol, he has had the wide exposure, the contacts, the contracts, the opportunities. That's all very good. If the producers of Idol do not think that his performance will enhance their big 10th anniversary finale, that's just a business decision. I don't think they "owe" him an appearance.

Ditto. What a piece of crap! Sorry Adam, disagree with you 1000% I find it amazing that I enjoy Adam's music as much as I do when I rarely like the music he tweets about. Don't get this one at all. Just sounds like some dance club background music to me. : : I feel the same way, Cassie. With the exception of Pink and Robyn, I must be hearing something different when he raves about other artists. I downloaded LGG today from Amazon. I want my 99 cents back.

Aw, I feel really bad for Lee. That really singles him out and is just not right.

This is the closest I got to him in Atlanta....he 'signed' my iphone. I say signed because it was a scribbled circle-thing. Which quickly wore off. But that's OK I know it was there. He was so serene. Aww, he was, wasn't he? That was a such a fun night! First time I met ya, and I was so sure you would be completely batshitcrazy awesome, and you were :D

With all the links to the petitions to sign in the header. I will add it. Just one exception -- please keep partisan US politics off this site. It might cause me issues if this gets classified as a partisan site (Democrats vs. Republicans vs. Libertarians vs. Greens vs. whatever)
