Seoulmate, I was in tears as I read your post this am. I'm not good at words, but my thughts are with you and your family. Unfortunately going thru the same with my mom, she is ready to go because the quality of life is not there. Dignity to the end is so important.

Gurl needs a break. edit--just read Q's analysis...makes sense. Oh well... |

Taking my son to school this am, KISS, FM Greenville, SC talked about JT and Gaga's stint on SNL. In hoinor of the great entertainment, they were going to play Gaga's whole album from top to bottom in one hour from the time of the announcement.
This woman just can't seem to do wrong. It really pisses me off that she is ripping off so many artists, blatantly and doesn't care. Young ones today have no clue that it is a ripoff. I have listened to the album, since so many on twitter had it and made it available. Is it revolutionary - No, is the best of the decade - No, Is it the biggest ripoff of the best - Yes.

SEOULMATE, so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved mom. Both my parents are now gone, and no one ever tells you how their deteriorating health is part of the tragedy of that loss. She is free now and can rest in peace.
SMOKEYVERA, sorry to hear that you are facing these same trials. Plus, you are one of the many who are in the middle generation, caring for parent(s) and child(ren). My thoughts are with you. Hope to see you after you settle in to your new digs.

I am so sorry to hear about you mom. I lost my sweet, gentle mom years ago to the ravages of Alzheimer's. You grieve everyday as you watch the person you knew and loved fade away. At the end, you know and rejoice that there is finally peace for her. Yet, there is a mom-sized hole left in your heart when she is gone.
We take pride in being strong ATOP women, but allow yourself to grieve in whatever way works for you. You have much love and support here. My heart and my prayers are with you.

Seoulmate, I've thought of you a lot lately because I know what a difficult time it is when you loose someone as special as your mom. Its wonderful you were able to be there together for her last hours. She will always be in your heart as you move on. Love and hugs! I hope cheriemelissa will let me steal her words because I feel exactly the same, and she said it better than I ever could. |

Your dear Mom will never be far from you.
My sweet Mom stepped through that gauzy curtain many years ago and she is still a comforting loving presence in my heart every day.
So it will be with you. Peace and comfort to you and yours.

Reading thru the DDD thread and found this Foxwoods encore link. Must have been when I was overdosed on concert vids because I don't remember watching back then. Thought I'd throw it out for more perusal. Foxwoods, in my opinion, has been the most under rated concert by fans. It seemed to get "forgotten." IMO, one of the top 5 WLL of all time. Vocally, it might be #2, right behind FS. One of the TALC ladies has a very good version of this also. It's a different angle of Adam on that platform.  |
