Alright Chart update from the Netherlands from last weekend! Slam finally updated their chart, but it was worth the wait!  Ghost Town:
NL Top 40: #18 (from #15) (21 weeks) Mega Top 50: #16 (from #14) (22 weeks) Single Top 100: #20 (from #19) (22 weeks) iTunes Top 30: #24 (from #24) (22 weeks) Slam 40: Not charted anymore. (18 weeks) Global Dance Chart: #39 (from #28) (20 weeks) Shazam top 100: #64 (from #61) (25 weeks) Airplay top 50: #8 (from #9) (22 weeks) Another Lonely Night:
NL Top 40: New entry on #36!
Mega Top 50: #46 (from #47) (2 weeks) Single Tip (pre-chart Single Top 100): New entry on #16!Slam 40: #18 (from #33) (3 weeks) Shazam top 100: #26 (from #13) (3 weeks) Airplay top 50: dropped out of top 50 (from #26) GT still dropping slowly in most charts. It's dropping a bit harder in the Top 40 compared to the rest, but that's iTunes helping the other positions. In Spotify it's now dropping quite fast. ALN is started to create some buss according to the Slam 40 (which is based on trends and stats from YouTube and Spotify). It's not getting very high in iTunes yet although it did go to top 30 for a little last week. GT is still doing way better. All radio stations are playing the damn version though. I've asked the Dutch fanclub today if they talk with Warner again if they please could send the explicit version to the radio stations as that is also the only version which is available on iTunes and in streaming services. I believe the explicit version might connect some more since it rhymes, but also give him a bit of an edgier image which follows GT some more. |

Speaking of Spotify.
The drop from the worldwide top 50 is hurting the amount of streams for GT quite big. It only had just below 500k streams yesterday and today the update was even worse with 379k (although I think today wasn't a complete update as the rest was also low).
GT is now dropping in almost all countries and dropping off several top 50 lists as well.
ALN is still not showing up in any of the Viral charts I can see.

skaschep, I don't think I will let ALN not showing up yet in charts worry me because look how long it took GT to get a solid purchase. Don't you think that is true since you are there?

ALN video 732,000 at midnight Calculate the odds of that minus last night 732,000-654223 and getting lucky 7 as the days spins. 77,777 That's just not normal and I just finished rewatching for the upteenth time the "lucky" episode of Star Trek Deep Space Nine. So is that a good omen or the end of the world? |

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but if you meant me mentioning the fact that ALN isn't on any Viral lists yet, I wasn't really expressing any worries, but more just stating the facts. It was ment to keep you informed. If you would like me to only post when it's on the lists that's fine. You will hear from me then. GT was in fact popping up on Viral lists about a week after the release of the music video which also coincided with the impact date on US radio. It did take quite some time for it to get enough streams to get to the World top 50, but it was being noticed. Since the roll out of ALN is a bit scattered over the world it's only natural for it to take a bit longer, however one would expect it to pop up in the countries where it's being played a lot already. I'm keeping an eye out for those, but I'll report back when I see some of that. |
