Jesslala, I'm so sorry to hear your sad, sad news. We're all thinking of you. May each day be a little easier than the one before, as memories begin to lighten, rather than weigh down, your sorrow. Hugs. Mayumi, unlike many members here I have not had the pleasure of meeting you or Rene, but I have thought of you two often over these Adam years. Obviously we here will look into your lives through an Adam window, which can seem reductive--of course there is much more to you... but there always seemed to me something particularly loving about the way you two shared this enthusiasm. I think maybe there is no stronger way to express love than to get excited about something simply because the person you love is excited about it--to not only support them but also join them in their joy. It is a happy place to live, and I hope the endless hours you two spent there together will help you in these painful times. The stories I have read of you and Rene here on Atop speak volumes for your generosity, towards each other and towards the rest of the world. I'm sure you'll find that generosity waiting for you when you need it now. I know it can't help much, but I hope it can help a little. I'm so sorry. Hugs.

Mayumi and Jesslala, so sorry for your losses. I did have the pleasure of meeting Rene and he will be sorely missed.
My own news is that my roommates and I finally finished moving. Feels like it has taken forever as we spent most of the last two months packing and have been moving stuff since the 20th of March. Even though we had movers do most of the furniture and boxes we still moved countless car loads on our own. The day we had the movers they started at 9:30am and finished at 1:30am making two trips in a 28ft truck that was packed to the gills. Hope I can recuperate some before the trip to Miami. LOL
