Thanks for all your well wishes. I am home and sore as hell. They did snap the hip back into place. I was very lucky. Usually when something like this happens after a hip replacement, they have to go in and do the surgery all over again. The universe was with me and I had a great doctor in Miami who knew what he was doing and snapped that sucker back in place.
I was able to see Adam get his key, and I was up close to the stage. Smargie let me stand in front of her and I got to see him up close. Now I am not worshipping, but Adam is absolutely beautiful and delicious. I wanted to jump his bones (just for a hug, of course). Also got to say hi to Johnny and Terrence. Both men were incredibly friendly and sweet. They talked to me and asked if I was going to the show that night. They were just as cute and nice as I knew they would be. I was in front of the cart Adam was in and I tried to stand in front of it as he was leaving. Of course no one noticed me so I had to jump out of the way before they ran me over. Oh well, next time I jump into the cart.
It was so hot at night at the concert. I stood for two hours in front of those huge speakers. I had a great spot but suddenly became sick about 15 minutes before Adam came on and had to leave the crowd to go over and pass out for a minute. Luckily the people at South Beach Miami were absolutely wonderful and took care of me. I even had a nurse tending me with a wet washcloth. She kept taking my pulse and making me breathe to slow down my heart rate. You just can't take me anywhere.
I did get to hear Adam sing two songs and got to peak around the stage to see Adam's head before I walked back to the hotel to collapse. The heat was unbearable, and I am just too damned old to be out in public I guess. I did have a great time and met new Atopers and old Atopers. Of course, I loved them all. There is nothing like an Adam Lambert fan. Only the very best people on earth are Glamberts (I am convinced of that). I got lucky in Miami. It could have been a lot worse, and I got to see Adam up close which was on my bucket list as well as a Gay Pride Parade. At the parade, I was standing beside a man who was the grand marshal. He looked familiar to me and it turned out he was the cowboy in the Village People. Some of you may not remember the Village People but they sang YMCA. He was very personable and turned around and shook my hand and gabbed for a minute. He was a very nice man. That was kind of exciting for me.
I saw a couple men who I swear were trying to look like Sauli. They had the dyed silver/blond hair combed like Sauli's. One had the mohawk like he used to wear. Rather amusing I thought. There is a restaurant called The Diner that had excellent food if you ever go to South Beach. It was the best.
Thanks for all your messages. I appreciate them. I wish I had been better company in Miami. At least I got there and back alive. Until next time......

Well, irish, sounds like you squeezed every little bit that you could out of your AFL experience. Good for you! Glad you got some good medical attention all around, too.
ETA - Don't worry, I remember the Village People too.

Irish, Thoughts and prayers. Glad your family both Atop and your handsome hubby were able to care for you. Get well soon.
This is an object lesson for me and those who come to Piitsburgh--I hope it's not as warm as Miami!

Irish, I'm late to the news, as usual, but wanted to say that you are a real trooper! You survived heat stroke and a displaced hip and are still smiling and enjoying life. I love that attitude and I hope you are now feeling back to normal!!

Irish!!! Your sense of humor is still intact!! Loved your recap, and I think you should post it in the main thread... it was hilarious!! Having said that, I'm sorry you had to go through all the crap like feeling faint in the oppressive heat and dealing with your poor hip... But you're still here with us, so that's all that matters!!!
