Such a shame that this should happen and I really hope you are on the mend now.
Hope it didn't spoil too much for you and that your abiding memories of your Pride experience will be of seeing Adam so close up getting the key (I thought he looked particularly happy and shining then), hearing him live and reconnecting with Atoppers.

I'm REALLY late with this Irish! I had no idea. You had not one but TWO unfortunate incidents. I'm so glad that things worked out as well as they did and you were able to enjoy at least part of Adam's performance. I hope no further surgery is necessary for your hip. ![]() |

Irish!! I finally found your sweet face in the shoutbox...am late to the gate here but I say you had a lot of oomp pa pa to make a trip like that in the first place. It sounds like you had some primo Adam viewing.. So sorry about the heat and the fall...at least you had wonderful care. Don't let this stop you from more concerts now..I am hoping to meet you one of these times!!  A little cat humor to brighten your day! ![]()

Irish, just checked this thread and read your news and recap. Quite the weekend!!! And yes, I do remember the Village People. I was very much a disco girl back then (I was going to say disco queen but I wasn't quite that!)

Fun day for me! My son's debut album just came out in iTunes today and one of the singles is ITunes free single of the week. He does electronic indie dance music called nu-disco. He is part of CLASSIXX and the album is called "Hanging Gardens." The single featured is "All your waiting for". it is fun to see a bit of all the craziness at this end.  Love to you all! |
