A little story..my DH has always been great about my stanning. He knows I go to 'that place' to get Adam news. I say Atop, but to him this is Greek. Today I showed him all your get well wishes and he was truly touched. He noted, 'This is quite the community, isn't it?' Yes, it is. Thank you all! He is very sore today but to be expected. So quiet where we live..ideal for healing and rest. Wanted you all to know that your wishes have been heard, seen and appreciated!!  Maybe we even have another Glambert in the house now..  |

Had some not good news today, my roommate & best friend had to be rushed to the hospital today. His potassium levels spiked so high it almost stopped his heart. I don't have a whole lot of detail right now because his wife is still at the hospital with him but she said they having to put him on dialysis to clean the potassium out of his blood. I have no idea if yet if there is going to be lasting damage. This really sucks because his wife is on the kidney transplant list and on dialysis 3 days a week so the last thing they need is more medical problems.

Hi everyone! I am de-lurking for now because I couldn't help but express my gladness for this site's support for each member in so many ways. Thank you, Q3! I have been going to this site for all Adam infos and squeeing (silently in the dark)for more than a year now. I used to go to the other site (MJ's) for all Adam news but got disenchanted with so much snark and hateful comments there, so I looked for another site that has members who are respectful and friendly to each other. And that's how I found Adamtopia. Thank you, Q3, for creating this site for Adam fans and for devoting a day for members to express support and love for each other in times of personal sorrows and concerns. I have been a fan of Adam since I happened to watch AI in 2008, just for curiosity to see the kind of contestants the show has that season. It so happened that that was the Ring of Fire part of the show - to cut this long verbiage short: I got hooked on Adam's amazing talent. I also de-lurked to say thanks to Mirages for uploading this beautiful video, Song of Bernadette. It brought back poignant memories to me. My mother (who passed away in 2004)loved the movie, Song of Bernadette. The movie is about the life of St. Bernadette, and she would tell me about her life story at that time. Anyway, I've rumbled too much already. I just want to say: I Love You Guys For Your Kindheartedness and Support for Each Other - and Most of All for Adam.
