Before today, I've never come to this part of the forum . . I never knew it existed.
Thank you, mys*&@^#r, for enticing me with your words about nic42 . . . so glad I came.
And nic!
Your narrative about 'discovering' Adam rings so true to me. And all of us. Like Sophie, I was 'flipping through television channels' four years ago when I was stopped in my tracks.
My life, like yours, is different now. I feel as if all my senses have been refreshed. I can hardly begin to express the joy that flows inside me. I've found a realness and openness within myself that had disappeared over the years.
We see ourselves in the discovery of others! Each story validates our own; it's happened to every one of us - and we welcome you and one another, with every post, with every shared moment along this journey of discovery, illumination, and love.
I'm just so glad you are here!

I have one more thing to say . . . long-winded as I can be.
In just finding this site, I'm just seeing, for the first time, the condolences and good wishes and thoughts that were sent my way about my little dog, Zipper. Oh my.
She rests between two bay trees, close to my swing - where I can glide towards the sky and think of her and all she continues to mean to me.

Hi Nic. I logged on so I could read your story. And it was so worth it!! I think Adam has touched so many lives...he'll never know how many. The very first time I was aware of Adam was during the Idol show that had all the finalists group into rooms at that hotel before they knew which group got through to the next step. I saw this guy standing in the group with a different & intriguing look about him. Who is THAT?? I didn't know because that was the first time I had tuned in that season. Well, I watched everything after that just to see who that guy was. The rest is history. I was hooked from that moment. The biggest change in me has been rediscovering music & doing things more spontaneously...and I am a happier person. I'll stop there. I love Adam & everything about him, his music & personality etc. Glad you are here with us now.  |

I see I landed in the Member News thread so I do see that amazing post. But...... I don't know the path to get here. I went to Members Only but all I saw where the meet up threads etc. I didn't see anything that said Member News in that list. What I am overlooking? |

What a beautiful empowering story. I am all about women empowerment these days. Heck, I am all about anyone empowerment.
For me, the whole Adam thing is entirely mythical. I feel we are all playing out a karmic connection from some very distant time. I think I might have said a long time ago that when I am in a certain space and try to feel into the situation, it almost feels like we were all together in some "kingdom" of sorts and he was our leader (king, raja, whatever we want to call it) and it was Camelot like. It is like we are finding each other again as soon as we keyed into him. NO WAY I say this to any other human beings on this earth but that is the beauty of this community. We all have some crazy sense of rightness about this and the need to be together and love this man.
