nic42......So happy you are enjoying your new world and life through open eyes, and that you found Adamtopia. Were we found through googling? or an article reference? Whatever or however...it is a grand place for me...a bit addictive to say the least. Best watch out, not only is Adam addictive but this site is too! Happy fanning!
Welcome to this Adamtopia....your life may never be the same!!
My view of what makes me happy includes my interest and passion ....to see Adam perform, and for him to find personal success. ( the artist...and the person)
He needs no mothering from me ....but I have learned much from him. His looks and voice captivated me ....and still do. Moth to a flame....?? Why that is?? We try to put into words....and as with your story...some of our thinking and feeling is harder to put to paper.....so glad you did/tried.....it has helped me to see YOU.
I look forward to learning about you and your views through the threads.

Some of you hinted at your own Adam stories, which made me very curious. Is there a thread/place here where I can find out more about your journeys? Or can you maybe tell me a bit more about them here?

That was fun to read your story, Nic42. A lot of us have been on board the Adam train since American Idol. I think most of us who tuned in during Adam's season, saw and heard Adam for the first time and thought "OMG, who is HE?!!!" and were instantly hooked. Some people caught the crazy train with his AMA performance and some arrived later. Many Finns hopped on board when he started dating Sauli.
I've often wondered what is in the DNA of those people who get Adam. Many of the people on this forum have never, ever followed a star before. He really is like some kind of pulsar or neutron star who shines brighter than anything else and the gravity pulls you in. I think many of us not only admire his talent (and looks), but the man himself. I know he's not perfect, but many times he comes off as a more evolved human being!

Hey there lovelies  Do you remember Ame? This is me, the silly one who signed out exactly a year ago. I was broken and devastated after one of the biggest failures in my life. BUT today I'm a completely different person, you know ''What doesn't kill you makes you stronger'' during the recent period I've gained so much experience, and moreover, I made new friends thanks to my work. Also I'm going back to a college on Monday. I missed Adamtopia and lurked here so often. now I'm back to berting and Im happy ♥ Love you'll guys  |
